Park benches

Jake walked by.
"Hey guys. Sup?" He said. Making a detour towards them. He glanced at Matt.
"Hey, I remember you from school. I never caught your name." Truthfully, he didnt really care about what happened at the construction site, he actually wanted to see what he was like normally.

Matt glanced up, he looked at Jake, it was from school that he recalled. He was that X-men, or a mutant that sounded just like him was.
"Your that guy Brandon has an issue with, an X-man right? Mind explaining the damage?"
Matt glanced at Wes, she was there too, he just didn't quite recall her before.

" I'm guessing that Brandon guy is the guy who randomly jolts you with energy. Damage.... Yah, I dont know either. I've been wondering that too."

"Well as stated by him, we shouldn't get along."
Matt sat back and shrugged.
"Your alot like us anyway so i dont see what the issue is."
He refered to the fact that he used his powers like they did last night, just as he wanted to. But it seemed like there were people out there who didn't agree.

"I told him that. He shot me across the mall." Jake yawned.
"I'm Jake. You?"

"Matt, did i miss something fun?"
Matt said with a smile, he thought about Jake landing across the mall, and the reaction.
"never heard him talk about it, how hard did you hit him back?"

"He left to fast. Either that or i got up too slow." He said. "But you'd get up slowly too if you were pumped with about 100 volts!" Jake added defensively.

"that musta sucked..."

Jake shrugged. His metal arm clicked. "Just as bad as a handbuzzer on my left arm." He commented. That may have been an exageration.... electricity on metal hand equals entire body shock.

"Thats less then sticking your finger into an outlet, plus i think your more worried about the amps."
Matt said assuming that he wasn't quite sure of what he was hit with, and just making something up.

(I'm an apprentice electrician, the volts are more in relation with the arcing abilities, the amps is what can kill you(not that that itself isnt very basic))

"...uh...if you say so..."

Kitty gave jake a concerned look "You better hope the professor doesn't find out. You'd probally get twice as many danger room sessions with Mr. Logan."

"what?"

"I'm fine. He just caught me off guard. We were talking and he randomly zapps me." Jake grumbled. "I'm not a wimp."

"I think im leaving, not sure where. Might check out the mall."
Matt said before he stood up, he still wasn't big on groups, and when the topic becomes more of an insider one, he decided it was time to leave.
"Later."
Matt started off in some random direction, he wasn't sure where it lead, he was just sure it wouldn't lead him back to the brotherhood house yet.

"See yah Matt!" He was starting to like Matt. Jake glanced back at the others. "I think I'm going to head home too. I got a project to work on."

"what project?"

"Cant tell. It's a secret." Jake said with a grin.

Wes gave a smile back, "okay, but youll show me when you finish?"

Jake's michivious grin broadened. "Maybe." With that he left.

Wes turned on her heel to Kitty, "so...."

Kitty gave a weak smile "Yes?"

"...what now?"
