A stroll in the park.

Alexis walked through the park, she walked slowly, admiring the leaves falling around her. As she walked, she thought to herself. Je vais chercher mon manteau d'hiver, bientôt... Her tail swished back and forth, admiring the view as much as she was. Thankfully her holo-watch disguised her true form, neither revealing her fur nor her tail. She sat down on the nearest bench, wondering what had been happening recently. She hadn't been out much recently, apparently being a thief hadn't left her much time to learn much about Maths... or Science... or Geography... Okay, so she hadn't learnt alot of school things, but she had street smarts, and that was alot more useful in a fight. But that meant she was left with alot of work to catch up on, but she was just starting to get there.

Izzy saw a girl sit down on the bench. That was her favourite bench. She had her pot plant under her right arm. She walked over to her bench and sat down next to the girl, holding her plant tightly in her arms. Izzy looked at the girl and shyly said "Hello".

Alexis' train of thought crashed into a mountain, her tail flicked angrily towards the stranger as she suddenly realised that there was a small child sitting next to her. "Oh! 'Allo." She said in her heavy french accent. Trying to calm herself down from the sudden shock of another human being. Suddenly becoming aware that the child was very very young, Alexis looked for the child's mother. "Ou... Where is your mother?" Alexis questioned, her accent hopefully concealing the worry in her voice. Alexis wasn't good when it came to bumping into people. Especially when any form of contact would end up revealing that she was a mutant.

Izzy heard the girls weird voice, but decided not to question it. She was tossing up weather to tell the girl about her mum, or the institute. She decided neither. "My mum let me come out here. She says that I'm responsible." Izzy said, with her right arm across her chest and a courageous face on. She was more relaxed now and was just gently holding her plant. Izzy put her arm out straight and said, "I'm Izzy, what's your name?"

Alexis listened politely to the young child as she called herself responsible. Petite fille, tu n'es pas responsable. She thought to herself, bemused by the strange child and her silly faces. She then stuck out her hand. Alexis looked down at the small child's hand. Her gold eyes locked onto that point, well disguised by the seeming magic of her holo-watch. She wasn't able to shake the child's hand, as in doing so would result in her revealing that she was coated in thin blue hair. Wondering why she wasn't wearing gloves Alexis stood up awkwardly. "Petite fille, I'll take you home, d'accord?" She said, not even considering that her small phrases in french would be a problem. Hoping that the small girl had a short attention span.

Izzy was confused by the silly speaking girl. "Are you making fun of my with your hard words?" Izzy grabbed her pot plant and said, "You can take me home if you stop speaking with funny words".

Alexis smiled at the girls ignorance. "You have a pretty plant." Alexis said, trying hard to not mix french into it. "Why do you carry it?" She continued. Making idle conversation as she walked Izzy home. She wasn't sure why but the route seemed familiar to her.

Izzy was walking down the path that she was just starting to get used to. She wasn't sure weather or not she was able to take people over to the boarding house or not. She chose to let her in if she wanted to. Izzy remembered the question and answered, "I carry my plant around because it protects me." Izzy walked for a while and then asked, "Why do you speak funny, and with the weird words."
