Park benches

Kittys sat on a bench gazing up at the clouds. All was peaceful in her mind. She began to think about wether or not to go for a run, god only knew what Mr.Logan had planned for a danger room sesion so she wated to be at the top of her game. nah, it can wait So she allowed her thoughts to wander away from bayville as she simply watched the clouds drift above her.

Matt walked the park with his PSP, the brotherhood house got loud when everyone was around, loud enough that he couldn't deal with it. So now he walked the street with both of his remaining decks of cards from the night before in is pockets-since he had enemies now.
what a life, never thought of bringing weapons with me before, maybe no side would have been a choice, too late now.

Kitty noticed a shadow that passed her and refocused infront of herself. She instatly reconized Matt and gave him a wave "Hey Matt, what's up?"

Matt glanced up from the game, just for a quick second before his eyes shot back down.
"Hey, one second."
Matt stood there for a bit, no sound, but the flashing light from the game should mean something. After maybe a minute he looked up and turned the game off.
"Not much, yourself?"

Kitty shruged "Nothing much. The mansion just gets a little noisey when everyone's around, you know?" She motioned for Matt to take a seat.

"Yea, i know the feeling."
Matt said shoving the game into his left pocket and walking over, he took a seat, just to be reminded of the deck in his back pocket.
"Wait, mansion?"

Kitty nodded "Yeah its kinda like a boarding house all the kids at the Xavier Institute stay, where we learn to control our powers and stuff."

"Oh, i guess that makes sense."
Matt nodded his head, he was getting bored, and quite quick, at least with the brotherhood everyone had powers and used them to make life fun.
"So what's there to do for fun around here, because my life isn't too interesting."

Kitty thought for a moment "Well we hang out in the rec room and we got out together, we're prtty much just one big family." She giggled a bit "I guess thats why I need to ge away every once and a while."

Wes was strolling around in the park and found Kitty talking to that one guy, Matt. She cocked her head, then walked over.

Matt looked away, towards Wes as she walked towards them.
"Your firends again? So much for getting away."
Matt said, he wasn't getting a good vibe from her at all, he put his hand in his right pocket and opened the deck, removed the cards and began to shuffle them; just to calm himself down.

Kitty shruged "Ah well, you hardly ever can." She waved over at Wes "Hey."

"hi." Wes stuck a toothpick in her mouth and shifts her weight to the right foot.

as a humming bird i fly into a near by tree. just watching

Matt stood up, he walked slow, and stoped before kitty, setting him about 5 feet back and to the side, he kept shuffleing, only stopping to remove a single card, he sood there looking at the card, just glanceing up from time to time.

Kitty had a confused look on her face s she glanced back anf rothe between the two. No doubt there was tension between the two "Uh did I miss something?"

"i dont know, did you?"

"Bad vibe, im just not liking it."

Matt said before he put the card into the deck and back into his pocket.

She gave them both a questioning glare, not wanting something to start.

"well, did *i* miss something?" wondering why they were even together like this. then again, it was kitty...

"Am I suddenly not aloud to have friends ouside the institue?" Kity scoffed, she really hated it when people questioned her desicions, especalily about who to hang out with.

"not neccisarily, but im wondering."

Matt took a step back, he was just being paranoid, maybe because he heard she was a mutant too.

"I got nothing, you two can sort this out if you need to, i'll be sitting on the bench."

Matt turned around and walked back, waiting for some sort of answer.

"I'm perfectly fine taking care of myself Wes." Kitty stated flatly "I don't nee anyone watching over who I become friends with, if you've got a problem with him thats your deal."

"i dont really have a problem with him, i was just trying to skate, im just wondering geez..." Wes sounded whiney, even to herself, but she didnt really care.
