Romanov Candy's make smiles (open)

Opening a small candy stand in the mall, he only got a kiosk for a few days to see how well these treats that his company had been making for many years. Romanov Candies a famous company that he had started in england. He had many of his favorite chocolates of all flavors and candy that was mainly salt water taffy at the moment. His favorite chocolate is the one he named Anastasia after his favorite cousin it was one he had in his mouth and was picking at. Selling the chocolates it was his show when he wasn't working for the brotherhood.

"Time time time. that is all some have." HE knew that to be true cause that is all he had. He aged so slow. Dressed in a black high color coat with a white dress shirt, he wore black dress pants and black leather boots he got fifty years ago that he adored. Seeing many of his chocolates he was happy that he was able to use the kitchen at home. He held a book in his hand while sitting on his spinning chair that was on cookies, but he was really looking at floor plans to the xavier house again that he miniturized. he he had to study it so that it was easier to sneak in next time. "that is what I should have done. I am not going to Cerebro." Sell a few Nicolis licorice chocolates to an old couple, he sat back down.

Kitty walked into the mall for yet another day of window shopping; unless there was something worth buying, then she would pounce on the sucker like a jungle cat. Guess that's why they call me Kitty... She thought to herself. Walking through the rows of stores she noticed a small kiosk with a logo she knew quite well. Romanov Candies.
When she live back in Illinois her father would bring her home chocolate from Romanov when he returned from business trips; and thus, she associated the logo with her family.

She couldn't help but give the kios a look. She quietly looked through the candies, trying not to alert the kiosk runner. As a frequent mall goer she knew just how presistant anyone working a kiosk could be.

dimitri raised an eyebrow looking at at the girl, he had seen her walking round the mall before. But today was the first day here in bayville for his store. She seemed interested in the candies.

"Hello miss." He said closing the book with the floor plans to the xavier house inside. He placed it on his chair. In the back of his head, he hated humans more than anything. but he had to keep up a show just to live. "Would you like to sample the chocolates? WE have a new one. Mother russia. White chocolate stuffed with a raspberry filling with some brown sugar." He always made sure someone knew what was inside the chocolates. he hated being sued.

Kitty looked up and smiled. The owner seemed nice enough and she did dig the clothes. "Hello." she greeted. She remembered the name of the chocolate her father would bring home to her "Umm, actually do you, like, have Anastasia?" she questioned.

Dimitri smiled when she said that name, it was one of his favorite chocolates. Talking over to his little silver tray he had sitting on his side table near the kiosk he held it up to her with two fingers. "I must say they are my favorite. I didn't think anyone in bayville knew about my chocolates." He hoped that he wasn't at any of the stores she had been to. "you can have a few if you want. I got an extra batch made. Made too many and I don't want them going bad." He said with a smile.

Kitty's smile grew to ressemble one of Kurt's mega-watt grin's. "Thank you! They're totally my favorite too. My dad's job takes him out of the country a lot so he, like, always tries to bring some back for me." She took a few and placed one in her mouth. Mmm, nostalgia.

dimitri watched kitty, she looked adorable but of course anyone that loved the anastasia chocolate that much must have been. "Well they are all made fresh. I make them at home. EAch store owner has to know how to make the chocolates." He stared at the human taking one from his plate and placing it in his mouth. "Though the old chocolates were better before the government played with the fruits and berries. now they don't taste as wild anymore." He knew this cause he had to grew the special ones in England. "May I ask where your father got them from? Oh my name is Dimitri Romanov. And what is your name charming young lady." He bowed.

After she swallowed Kitty replied "They're really good." she complimented, taking a small bag to store the rest. "Well he goes, like, all around the world, but mostly Japan and England. My name's Kitty Pryde."

"that is good, England is where the origional store is. The best kind is there." dimitri smiled, he couldn't believe that he was enjoying a conversation with a human, or who he thought was a human. "charmed to meet you." He bowed to her as though he was a noble gentleman. Standing staight up. "Would you like to learn how to make these then one day? I am always looking for someone new to teach."

Kitty giggled a bit "Pleasure's all mine." She gave him a quick little theatre curtsey. "I don't think that's a good idea. Like, the last time I tried to cook something we kinda had to call a hazmat team..."

dimitri covered his mouth with one hand giggling as his long lock of hair hid his left eye socket that had no eye in it. "Well. That happens. I remembered the first time I tried, I made chocolate soup." dimitri smirked. Stopping for a moment, he saw some punk kids looking like they were going to swipe something from his stand at the end. "I go to the high school, this is my weekend job."

"Oh that's totally awesome! Like, maybe we'll have a class together." Kitty said rather friendly. She was a pretty open person, and since Dimitri and her were hitting it off rather nicely she already considered him a friend.

dimitri stared at the human girl named kitty as the punks walked off. "I can bring you new chocolates, and anastasia's I have left over from the weekend sales. you can give them away." Dimitri said, he can't believe he was having a conversation with someone he thinks is human. Keeping a calm look on his face, his russian accent in full. "Do you know the history of each chocolate. Each name has its own tale you know. My grandfather one of the Romanov's escaped Russia and went to england to open a candy store after the family lost everything." He lied. he knew how to tell them quite well.

"That'd be great." Kitty smiled. The stories perked Kitty's intrest "If it's not to much trouble do you think I could, like hear the stories?" she asked tentavily.

Wishing that he had his machine to make his homemade hot chocolat in the kiosk, he figured soon he'll have a store in the mall once one is free. He turning his head to kitty, dimitri never heard anyone ask him to tell them the story. He smiled and nodded his head.

"you are too kind. I will make sure to say this all in english for you." Dimitri smiled showing her the special named chocolates. "Nicolis Licorice is sweet on the outside just like his kind heart, but a distaste to some on the inside for not being smart enough to take the right advice for his people." Dimitri smiled. "Alexander is a bitter chocolate with chili spices that plays tricks on you. He liked to play practical jokes." His eyes went to anastasia, his favorite of all chocolates. "anastasia has a sad one though. Loved by all, her sweetness and kindness. but in the end, she was cut short. that is why there is a cherry in the middle of the strawberry. not whole."

Kitty gave a sad smile, the emotion he putin the stories was touching "That was beautiful." She commented, mved by each story "It so almost like you knew them personally."

dimitri looked at the chocolates sadly, remembering watching each member of his family playing in the feilds and in the palace. watching his own parents die while he remained young and guarding his family. but in the end...he felt like a failure. touching the empty eye socket. snapping back to reality, he pushed his past away. remembering why he hated humans.

"I sort of did. they were my father and grandfather's family. Sad how they died." dimitri said. "damn humans" He said under his breathe and then stood up straight with a snapped smile looking at Kitty. "may I ask if you like to combat train or at least what courses you are taking?"

Kitty could tell a subject change when she heard one, and decided it for the best to go with it "Yeah I do, like, a few diffrent martial arts styles. At school I take All AP classes for my core classes, a computer class, and I mangaed to, like, sneak my way into two Drama classes." Kitty said fondly "Like, what about you?"

HEaring her courses they sounded amusing to him. "I take german, gym, advance science, cooking class, but my favorite would have to be drama. to see the potential for the future makes me smile." Dimitri grabbed a mother russia and bit into it. "I am more of the russian and german fighting style. never really learned martial arts."

"Well I'm being taught a few styles from several countries, my mentor is, like, well travled I guess." She said. hearing his comment about Drama her face lit up "Sweet, maybe we have it together!"

"Have what together?" dimitri asked. Hearing about her teacher for a moment, he didn't know there was a martial arts class in the school. "Curious your boyfriend won't be mad your hanging with me right? I'm not hitting on you, but don't want to be seen giving someone elses girl chocolate." dimitri said, he was thinking still while he took a piece of butterscotch brittle handing a small piece to Kitty thinking still he had seen her face before. but couldn't remember where.

"Drama, like, you said it was your favorite." She blushed a little at the remark about her boyfriend "Umm I'm, like, single at the moment."

dimitri almost forgot about him saying the liked drama, he did as well. it amused him so much. Hearing that she was single didn't bother him. "a pretty young girl like you. Hard to believe." dimitri handed some samples out to little children. "Sure. We can work together in drama class. I start this week. Sort of new in town." He didn't know if the girl know or not about the brotherhood. Suddenly he heard someone screaming thief, looking up it was a little old lady calling for the cops. a tall man went to run past dimitri with the purse. But that is when Dimitri grabbed him by the arm quickly, smashing the man into the floor on his face before twisting the man's arm behind his back breaking the shoulder bone. The purse sat on the floor.

"Stupid human. you should know better than that." Dimitri said. "Stealing from a little old lady. how dare you. I should just rip your arm off." dimitri said with a calm tone. He didn't go through with it but dimitri looked over at kitty. "sorry about this. can't let someone get away with causing trouble to a little old lady."

Kitty looked down at the theif in shock. "Woah." The "stupid human" remark stood out to her, but she chose not to question it with all the attention the stand was now getting. "That was totally awesome. Like, great reaction time." She complimented, her eyes not leaving the pinned thief.

dimitri smirked at Kitty before letting the man go, he wasn't going anywhere. The security guards came as he stood up turning to kitty not noticing that he had been scratched on his cheek by his own hand. The wound healed in seconds as though it never happened. Grabbing the purse, he returned it to the old lady before coming back to his kiosk.

"Sorry about that Little Kitty. I was raised to not steal from little old women." Dimitri smirked looking at a piece of candy he saw. A broken heart which are little candies made of sour raspberry and in the shape of half a heart. "Would you like to try one of these?" He asked handing Kitty the small candy what was barely bigger than her pinky nail.
