First day of school.(A)

Kitty opens up her milk and takes a swig, waiting for the barrage of questioning she knows she aboutto recieve from Jean.

Jean doesn't even look up. "Hey Kitty. You okay??"

Kitty finishes off the milk and wipes her upper lip with the back of her hand "Yeah of course, why wouldn't I be." She grabs for the muffin giving Jean a questioning eyebrow.

Wes watched them boredly, drinking her own milk.

"Who was that guys earlier???" She asks still not looking at her.

Kitty let her face fall into the palm of her hand "Just a guy..." Kitty was getting lightly annoyed having to explain herself, she hoped it hadn't come off in her voice but she knew it had to at least a little. She took a bite out of the muffin as she waited for Jean's reply.

"Alright..." Jean said not really wanting to ask anymorer cause she knew Kitty would not answer her

Kitty seemed to have her normal mood back. Her face was pright and she was gnawing away on her muffin happily.

Jean looked over at Kitty and smiled. "Hey please try not to fall through lockers anymore okay...."

Kitty froze up, nearly dropping her muffin "Eh heh heh... Soooo.... You saw that?"

Wes had to hold back a laugh at that

"Of course... I wasn't that far away from you ya know. Just try not to do it again." Jean said rying not to sound mad at her.

Kitty sighed "All right, but its hard when I'm startled, I either go through omething when i don;t want to or I can't phase through anything when I want to."She continued finishing off her laugh few bites off muffin.

Jean sighed and finished her morning snacks

Kitty began to work on the apple not really paying attention to the others.

Jake listened insilence, still embarresed. H munched on a bagel

Kitty began finishing off the apple "So did I like miss anything?"

"Uh........" Jake started, stopping with the bagel still in his mouth

"Come on you can tell me." Kitty took a last bite out of the apple as she began to stare down Jake.

"nothing, exept im about to go crazy from lack of dew. or toothpicks for that matter."

"And the fact that i sprouted a tiger tail in public- alright, i'm going to go look for my classes." Jake said hurridly

"Yeah I probally should too." Kitty threw her stuff away and swung her back pack over her shoulder. She started toward the cafeteria doors.

"meh, i can read a map, ill have no problem."

i fly in and change back to normal.
''yay im back'' i mutter in a sarcastic tone

Wes hears the bell and starts heading for first period.
