Roads are more fun now (CATHRINE/OPEN)

siro looked at her as his cheeks went red, not sure what to say as her hand touched his. When she agreed to dance with him, he took her hand bringing her over to the dance floor from before careful not to allow his bare hand to touch her skin. The salty sea air smelt so good to him, as he danced with her careful not to move too fast with Cathrine since she is still learning how to dance.
"I love dancing with you. Seems like I can be myself around you. Nice to have someone to relate to to be around." Siro gave a soft smile to her as he looked down at her. SHe looked lovely in the light of the lowering sun and the ocean background. His eyes were focused on her as he was awe strucked by her. his cheeks were a little pink while looking at her.

Being led to the dance floor once again, Cath tried her best to keep the same pace as he was while focusing on him this time around. As he said how he felt he could be himself around her, a blush clung onto her cheeks before she replied in a soft tone.
"I feel like I can just be myself around you as well, it's been a pretty long time since I could do that. It is nice to have someone you can relate to around, and I love dancing with you too, you're very good at it."
Deep blue eyes were trained on him as they moved slowly across the floor, the setting sun throwing colors all across the sky, giving the air an even more romantic feel to it. Fire flies began to emerge and flickered in the cooling air.

Siro smiled at Cathrine as he couldn't take her eyes off her. the fireflies made it even more nice out, his mind wanted to do something but last time he wasn't sure what would happen. Listening to her words, his mind was thinking about something as a sly grin appeared on his face while dancing with her. his eyes were soft and kind when looking at Cathrine.
"I am glad. I wouldn't want it any other way. Was wondering have you ever been to a ball or street party?" Siro asked as he was trying to make small talk while dancing with her.
His eye caught a firefly that flew between them for a moment and then around Cathrine's head before flying off to the others.
His gloved hand holding her hand. the sly smile remained there but slowly turned into a soft smile that thought of how ncie she looked at the moment and how it was nice to dance with someone like her. "Is there anywhere in the world you want to see?"

As the firefly circled her head she laughed, and for a moment she watched it fly away before she turned back to Siro.
"No I haven't been to anything like those. And I guess if I could see any place in the world it'd be Venice. I love pizza and pasta, but I also want to go and see one fo the most beautiful cities in the world. It might get me out of my writting slump too. I haven't told you, I'm working as a writter for a newspaper in town."
Her hand gripped onto his as they moved in sync with one another. How handsome he looked in the dimming glow of the day, that thought made her blush even more.

Siro listend to her words, hangning onto every word that came out of her mouth. Hearing about venice made him smile, he kenw the europe is rather pretty. Hearing that she is a writer, he got an idea almost on something. His mind was focused on her and only her, he didn't see or hear anyone else around him.
"I would like to read some of those articles then. I tend not to read new papers. but I would love to read something you write." Siro smiled, as his voice spoke a little low and soft to her. "And plus I hear Venice is gorgeous in the summer." He felt her hand grip his as she blushed even more. His cheeks went a little pink as this time his lips touched her lips as he still danced with her.

Cath would love to show Siro some of the things she'd written, but not just the articles about simple things, it was just a way to make money for now. What she hoped to do was be a best selling author, to move people with words and really make them imagine the world through her eyes. Then Siro kissed her again, the blush flared to life on her cheeks but this time she was more responsive as she returned the kiss.
She moved a bit slower, letting the moment last for as long as it could. Now almost everyone who walked by would think they were on a date. She even began to question in her own mind if they really were.

his cheeks went red wen she kissed him back, his mind went blank as all he was thinking about was her. He stopped as he didn't want to accidentally touch her with his bare hand. He could feel the warm of her lips, as his hand gently dripped her hand that he held with his gloved hand. Even though people went by, siro wasn't thinking about them. His mind was on her. Taking his lips away from her's. His lips were beat red as he felt his heart skip a beat for a moment seeing that he had done it again.

thinking about it, he just rhought people might think they were on a date now. His mind went in circlees about this as he wasn't sure what to say or do. He wanted to compliment her kiss, but didn't want it coming out cheesy. So he leaned down towards her ear. "that was nice." He gave a sly smile as he stood back up. "Question...want to go into town or down to the beach?" He paused as he looked at her. Letting go of Cathrine for a moment, he walked over to the railing for a moment before coming back. Pulling a red rose he had cut from the flowers on the basket of the railing. He bowed to her and pressed his lips against her hand.

As the kiss was broken Cath felt the world spin under her feet, yet she fought to keep herself upright, pulling herself ever slightly closer to Siro to keep her balance. It felt strange kissing someone she'd only known a single day, strange yet exciting at the time. Cath smiled and brushed her red cheek with the back of her hand softly, it was warm to the touch.
"That was nice."
She muttered back, then as he left for a breif moment, she grinned widely as she saw him return with a rose, giggling softly as he grabbed her hand and kissed it.
"So formal, but I like it. And the beach would be lovely."
The reply was in a soft, happy tone as she turned the rose in her fingers. How elated her heart was, how fast it beat as he stood their holding her hand.

Siro's face went red, she seemed a little off to him after he broke the kiss. but he saw her cheeks when he gave her the rose. Standing up straight, he placed some money on the table to pay for the meal. "Shall we then?" He said with a smile.
"Well a lovely lady should get a rose once in a while." Siro walked with her down to the beach though this time he didn't go to the water. His heart was still racing a bit from kissing her, but taking off his shoes again he picked up a shell and held it up in his hand remmembering when he was a little kid. but getting an idea, he took the rose gently from her hand. "Just one moment."
He smiled gently as he tucked the rose behind her ear as though it was a clip. It looked lovely in her hair. touching the side of her cheek, he put his bare hand in his pocket. "It looks real good on you."

As they walked down to the beach, Cath sniffed the rose. It was lovely, this whole day had been lovely. Cath couldn't even begin to imagine how she could thank Siro for this, but she'd have to find a way. She hated having debuts to pay, it bothered her to no end so she tried to pay them off quickly. But for paying him back for this, she could wait a while.
As they walked down the sand, Cath watched him as he was sillohueted against the setting sun. As he suddenly reached over and tucked the rose behind her ear, she smiled and gently ran a finger over the blood red petals.
"I do love red."
She said, linking her arm with his as they kept walking.
"It's so beautiful out here, sun set on a beach is so lovely. Romantic in a lot of way too."
She blushed lightly as she said that, looking to the ground watching their foot prints appear in the sand.

Happy to hear that she loved red, her arm linked with his. Siro was enjoying his time with Cathrine the gentle breeze made their hair move with the air. he was mezmorized by her smile and how things were going. but his mind went in circles, he had kissed her and liked it. around and around, a soft smile remind on his face when looking at her.

their tracks in the sand, he watched them as he didn't notice they had walked that far. getting an idea he used one arm to pick Cathrine up around the ribs and spun her around in a circle as though playing with her. careful not to use his gloved hand. As he spun her, he tripped over a spot in the sand and fell over using his arm to make sure Cathrine didn't fall under him he landed on his back.
"Sorry about that...thought it would be fun." Siro smirked. "Are you okay?" He asked rubbing the back of his head.

The gentle rolling of the waves, it made the moment ever more soothing. Cath was so focused on the beach ahead, she squealed softly as Siro picked her up. Soon it turned into shrill laughter, and another yelp as they fell. But as she sat there she kept laughing, not minding they had fallen. Cath had to clear her throat quickly before she responded
"I'm perfectly fine. That was fun, Kyle used to do that to me."
She said, smiling at Siro.
"I also thought it was pretty funny too, even if I am a little dizzy."

laughing he knew he was feeling a little dizzy as well. Sitting up he had forgotten he wasn't wearing a glove on one hand. His hand went to touch the side of her face, but paused as she spoke. Looking at his hand he lowered it using his other hand to tuck a piece of hair behind her ear.
"anyone is lucky to be able to spend a moment with you. You are beautiful, sweet, kind, gentle. Just wish I could use my real hand to hold yours and not a gloved one." Siro's face went red. He wasn't sure waht to say, but he was glad that he was making her smile and remember happy thoughts to say the least. His eyes darted back and forth from the ocean to her and a sly grin appeared on his face as he got up and took off his dress shirt for a moment pulling a crab off of it showing it to her. "Make a fire and I'll cool." He laughed.

Cath looked to Siro as he quickly moved his free hand from touching her face and instead brushed her hair back with his gloved one.
"It would be nice if you could. And you're embarassing me."
She said, blushing s she sat up and gave his shoulder a light, playful smack. For a moment she just stared down the beach as their foot prints were washed away by the waters. Then out of the corner of her eye she saw Siro take off his shirt and she blushed madly. Seeing the crab he held up she laughed softly and stood, brushing sand off her shorts, it was getting kinda cold outside.
"Alright, lemme go find some drift wood ok?"

"Sorry don't mean to." Siro laughed, when he saw her face when he took off his shirt his cheeks went red as the shirt outlined his muscles on his torso his abs and all. but his cheeks were still red when he saw her staring. "Like?" He joked with a sly grin.

"Okay you do that. and we'll just roast seafood." Siro laughed as he made a hole, using his shirt he grabbed a few crab that were walking along the shore using his shirt to hold them so that he doesn't get pinched. Going back the hole. He watched as Cathrine went to get drift wood; his eyes watching her movement he saw some people down the beach ahving a fire of their own. Last thing he wanted was some trouble. Keeping his mouth shut, his eyes were focused back on Cathrine.

Cath walked by and shook her head with a laugh as he asked if she liked it. She did, she just didn't want his ego to get inflamed. Searching the beach she began finding peices of drift wood that were dry enough to burn, and returned within a few minutes. She placed the logs in the hole in the sand and kneeled next to it, placing her thumb on her bottom lip in thought.
"Now... how do we light it? Unless you have either matches or a lighter on you we might be sunk."

Realizing it was going to be late when they get done, he looked down at the fire as some people were coming down from the restaurant heading out to the sea and havng a small beach party. Siro wasn't sure how to anwser Cathrine about lighting it. That is when a man threw a match on the fire and lit it with whiskey as Siro went to put it shirt back on.

A girl touched his bare arm, Siro flinched as the girl jumped away from him. His eyes went to Cathrine.
"dude chill out. enjoy the waves man." the girl said. Siro moved away from her and went over to Cathrine looking at her he was trying to control his power and process it but as people were dancing around and moving about. His eyes looked at Cathrine sadly.
"I'm sorry..." He said tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. But as some guys were looking at Cathrine, he sat on the sand with his knees on either side of her looking at the men with a cold look before turning to Cathrine. "I hate creeps. Um would you like to go back to the manor or street race? Or something. Anything you want to do is fine with me." Siro wrapped his gloved arm around Cathrine's waist. "You look lovely though in the fire light."

Waving a thank you to the person who'd thrown the match, Cath turned to see Siro flinch once the girl touched him. She became worried again, but he looked fine so she kept it to herself. As the beach became crowded, and guys kept staring at her, she glared at them too, keeping close to Siro.
"I think leaving might be a good idea, after all, don't you have a race to win?"
She asked, tilting her head toward with with a smile. Cath remembered him telling her about the race, and wanted to watch him for herself.
"Besides, this place is getting crowded. And I hate creeps too!"
The past part was more of a shout as she looked to the guys who were staring at her, they scoffed and just turned around.

Siro was still trying to process when people kept touching him. He listened to cathrine and nodded his head remembering that they had a race. He knew that he had a race to go do, but he was mainly wanting not to leave cathrine as a just incase the police show up there. then again he figured that she could hold her own.

"I agree. Creeps are a pain." Siro smirked. "Shall we go then?" he gave her a kind smile as he stood up holding his gloved hand out to lead them to the car to head out. He wasn't going to take the chance of anyone touching him there though he is about to go street race in a slightly crowded area he was hoping there were only a few people. He looked at the drunken people walking around, before looking back at cathrine realizing that is it about time for the party. "I am going to have one pretty cheerleader." He joked with a wink to her.

As people kept bumping into them, Cath began to get irritated. As she stood one drunk nearly nocked her over, and that was the end of the line. Whipping around, she grabbed onto the guy collar with a furious glare
"Why don't you get your head out of your ass and watch where you're going?!!"
Then pushing him back into the sand she turned and grabbed Siro hand, walking back toward the car. A lot of people were now getting drunk and it was pissing her off.
"Sorry, but people like that always piss me off. Think they can get away with being drunk in public with no respect for anyone else's privacy."
But her anger was broken as Siro said he'd have one pretty cheerleader at the race, this brought the smile once again to her face and the blush as well.
"Shut up~"
She said in a soft tone, joking around with him a bit more.

Siro nodded his head as they went to the car. He frowned at a man that bumped into them. Siro allowed Cathrine to go back to the car, before Siro turned her attention to a man that didn't get a hint. Balling up his gloved hand, he punched the man in the face knocking him down like a sack of potatoes.
Going over to the car, he got in with Cathrine starting up the engine before complimenting her. Hearing her tell him to shut up, he saw the blush come over her face causing him to smile at her. He calmed down as he headed into New York for the race.
"Well your welcome to ride with me during the race. Just have to hold on when you do." siro told her, He touched her with his gloved hand as it sat on her arm when they were traveling to the racing strip in new york. "So...what kind of races do you like?" Siro smirke.d

Cath gawked as she watched Siro deck the guy straight in the face, then bit her lower lip trying not to laugh so hard she would cry. Her composure came back as he took his place in the drivers seat and they pulled away from the beach. His hand rested on her arm, and it made her feel so safe to have him with her.
"I think I'll be happy on the side lines, besides, you did say you'd have a pretty cheer leader. Wouldn't be able to do much cheering from the passanger seat in the car now would I?"
She said, giving him a sly grin.
"I like street racing the best, its so much better then the set tracks of any international speedway. It proves to have so much more danger in it when you don't expect anything to happen! I mean in any normal track you just have four left hand turns, seriously? Street racing is a whole different animal, so many things could do wrong, it's gets the adrenaline rushing!"

Siro saw her face when he had punched the guy before but said nothing but gave a slight smile to her. Getting into new york he started heading towards the area where they would race which was in an old warehouse area. but he knew it would take a bit to get there. Siro hung on her every word.
But she was right, when she called herself a cheerleader a wider grin appeared on his face. "That is right. If you wouldn't mind holding my coat. It gets rather cold. And No one will mess with you probably there if you wear it." Siro returned with a sly grin as he turned a corner. She was right though about street racing which made him even more happy listening to her as they were almost there. "Well beautiful Cath. It is a rush, but I have my own reasons. It is something I'm good at. No fighting, just racing. Sort of makes your spirit feel like you can run away from all the troubles before returning. But so far...someone else has been doing that..." Siro blushed a bit looking over at Cath with his eyes as the loud music came through as they came around the corner to a warehouse area.
Cars lined up on the side as people were dancing and partying. checking out the other engines and how the tires looked. it all was the same to Siro as he saw his friends with a spot for him. BAcking up into it, Siro turned off the engine with a smirk on his face as his friend mitch was rooting that he was there.
"Welcome to my party." Siro said as he gave cathrine a kiss on the cheek before opening his door. A couple of people said hello, but he walked over and opened Cathrine's door and waited. His little gang sat on the hood of the new GT charger that wwas painted red and yellow.

"Yo Siri. Whose the beauty man? Finally got control of that issue huh?" His friend Laxote said with a smirk teasing him as Mitch whistled.
"Been waiting. Race will start soon. Where you been?" BEau said as he ruffled his black hair.

"I was out with Cathrine." Siro looked at them, and they went silent as he gave a sly smile. "don't worry I'll win. Mitch need you to keep an eye on Cathrine while I race." Siro told him, the tall african american nodded his head and smirked.

As Siro mentioned taking his jacket, she nodded and turned to reach behind him and grab it. Placing the back of her hand against the window, it was getting cold out too. Cath slid the jacket on over herself, the sleeves dangled just over her finger tips, and it covered part of her legs. Short of all things to wear, smart idea Cath. The loud music made her turn her head, and as thye turned the corner she was like a kid in a candy store, watching everyone and all the cars that passed with an all too deighted grin on her face.
"Now THIS is one hell of a party!"
She said looking forward again as the engine shut off. As Siro kissed ehr cheek and the area turned a soft pinkish color, she climbed out of the car, at first shocked at how cold it was as shivered slightly. But she quickly adjusted, and as she heard his friends teased him she smiled shyly.
"Wow, nice ride."
She said, pulling the slightly big coat around herself as she walked around the GT Charger and whistled.
"This is the way to travel in style."
Cath lifted her head as he asked Mitch to keep an eye on her during the race. Happily, she casually walked over to Mitch and smiled.
"Hello."

Siro closed the door behind Cathrine, he had saw her pink cheeks before which was cute. When one of his friends whispered in his ear about her, his cheeks went red and a frown appeared on his face looking at his friend Beau. But then he laughed when she liked the GT Charger.
"It was my birthday present. I think I'll take the first race." Beau smirked before leaning against it. "I'm racing for the slips of that nice Blue Hummer over there. I wanna do what they did to it in fast and furious one time, into a hulk car."

Siro placed a hand on Cathrine's shoulder and wrapped an arm around her shoulder as though giving her a hug. His chin resting on the top of her head as she stood next to Mitch. The engines of two near them rawred like they were ready to fight.
"Is your pink slip on it?" Siro asked his friend.
"Of course..." beau smirked.

Siro shook his head, looking at everyone his lips went down near Cathrine's ear. "If you hear sirens text me and I'll pick you up at the back of the warehouse...so...this is mitch, that loud mouth is Beau. Laxote over there is our mechanic. and that girl is Abigail and her brother Richard. They know about my power. they been with me since Louisana." Siro laughed, but he stepped aside as he turned on his car by leaning in through the window. A smirk appeared on his face as he looked at Cathrine in his coat. "You look good in that beautiful." Siro winked at her.
