(open) thinking about leaving

"He'll need to control you around here," Shadow pointed out. "If you hurt anyone here, they'll blame him." She stepped up to the creature, meeting his eyes with her own cold hazel ones. "If they blame him, they force him out. And if they force him out, they force you out too," Shadowsong growled, putting a hand on her hip.

the reaper smirked and stared at her. "Like I care. This place is no better than a lab. To see if mutants can control their skills. To experiment on how they can hide. We are use to running. It wouldn't bother me one bit to leave." the reaper laughed, turning his attention to the door, his claws touching the ground looking back at her. "your dragging this on. Keep it up and I will leave with chace. don't care how sad he gets.'

"This place doesn't expirament. They teach us. Some of us learn to control our gifts on our own. Others need this place. I came here to stay near family that actually wants me," she defended, stalling slightly and trying to see if this truly was a trick. "And we'll see if this is a trick. I'll put you on a bit of a trial. If this is a trick, I'm dragging your ass to Cuba. If you want to kill someone, you can find Castro."

The reaper smirked. "so you do have a killer in you. Good good. this might be more amusing than I thought. Point me to the man one day, and I'll show him such terror that he will call to his ancestors for help." the reaper smirked as he bowed to her. Changing back into chace whom fell onto the floor looking as though he was sleeping.

Shadowsong growled at the thing before her. She didn't truly have the want to kill, but if he got Castro he'd be helping someone. It changed back to Cace soon though, and she knelt beside him. "Wake up Snow," Shadow smiled, grabbing his arms and pulling him into a sitting position.

chace laid there on the ground sleeing as he was put into the sitting position. Cracking open his eyes, he felt so weak as he looked at shadow. his face a little pink but still in a daze. Grabbing her hand he pulled her down to him and wrapped his arms around her. "Shada...."

"Everyone's fine," Shadowsong laughed, kissing him lightly. "I was right. Your other form is kinda on trial though." She tried pulling him to his feet to at least get him inside. The front steps can't be too comfortable.

Chace's face went red when she kissed him lightly, but he smiled at her. fear though set in when she said something about his other side. it worried him a little more. Putting his arm over her shoulder, he went inside with her a little worried about his other side. He sat down on the carpet inside. "I'm sorry. Did he do anything?" Chace rubbed hs forehead.

"If you count trying to make a deal with me, yes," Shadowsong stated. "He says that he wants you to stop trying to control him. And that he'll basically be like an assassin for me if I don't turn you in. For now, the deal is that I drop you two off in a sewer to kill a few rats on occasion." Shadow didn't truly trust Chace's other side, but was Chace and him, or neither of them.

chac stared at her and shook his head. "I highly doubt that. best place would be woods for hunting real animals. rats are not amusing to him. he won't even attack them." he stood up placng an arm over her shoulder. "how about tomorrow I take you for a sushi dinner? and I'm buying no iff ands or butts."

"What if I just let him loose in the danger room?" Shadow asked. "We don't want him confusing a hunter with the 'real animals'. And rats are real animals. I even think they're kinda cute." She smiled when he put his an arm around her. He was just nice. The perfect boyfriend to her. "Fine. If you don't see me when you try dragging me in there, make sure to check the trees."

Chace stared at her. "Danger room would be perfect. isn't there holographics to make it looks like woods." Chace thought for a moment. He leaned over and kissed her on the hceek with a red face. He adored shadow, she deserved more than anything. "Why would I need to check the trees?"

"I think so," she stated, not certain if there was a working one. Shadowsong loved Chace. And by the way he acted, the feeling was mutual. But, she wouldn't let him take her out if he was paying. And if she was correct, what she'd snagged from Darcy's college fund, she'd have enough in her bag. If she remembered to grab it. "I don't want you to be stuck paying for my meal. It just makes me feel like I'm taking advantage of you."

Chace stared at her with a sad face. "Come on. Let me buy you one meal. its not taking advantage of me. I work at a store in the mall." He knew that he would work as long as his other side kept in line. and it seemed to keep in line when he was concentrating on something.

Shadow couldn't bare to see him sad. Anyone else, of course. But he was the only exception. "Fine," she muttered. If he payed, she'd drop as close to the actual price in his room sometime. "But don't get used to it, Snow."

Chace grabbed her hand and held her close with one arm wrapped around her shoulders in an embrace. "I want to do one thing and no returns. if you do...it will make me think I'm not good enough. so Let me give you this one thing." chace spoke softly.

"Fine, Snow, but I'm not dressing up," she sighed in defeat. "If I'm stuck trying to borrow something from one of the little snotty popular girls, you're wearing a dress too." Shadow couldn't help but laugh at that one. It would be excellent payback.

chace shook his head. "No just a nice casual restaurant. and I don't own a suite. what you see is mainly all I got. I just do laundry every day while in towel." Chace joked with a red face. he couldn't help but smile at her.

"Good," Shadow laughed. "Because I've never been a girly girl." She couldn't get the image of Chace stuck with only what he had out of her head. "We'll have to have someone work on that."

chace stared at her for a moment. "If you were you would probably think I was repulsive." chace looked down at his feet for a moment. "Would you like to go shopping with me some time. I never really was good at fashion..." Chace's face went beat red.

"I still know a good heart when I find one," Shadowsong stated. "And why not? It's not like you'll scare everyone away with that."

Chace looked away for moment. "Good heart. I don't have one." Chace rubbed the back of his neck. "If I did, I wouldn't have this beast." Chace placed his hands in his pocket taking a step back. "I think I'll go take a shower...and do my laundry..." Chace's face went red.

"It's got some good. It hasn't killed anyone here yet," Shadow pointed out. "Go ahead, if you need me, look for smoke. I might be stuck in a tree."

Chace stared at her for a moment. "um...tree. so you spy on people in the shower?" Chace asked a little confused at the moment.

"No, I mean I'm probably stuck from trying to climb," she laughed. "If I were a spy, you'd probably know by now. I'm a bit of a klutz."
