Xavier Institute?

Sky stared at the enormous building. What could be waiting for her in there?

"Another school again," She thought.

"Then I'll be the new girl and the weird girl and the DIFFERENT girl," she mumbled to herself. She was used to being the 'new' one because she's never stayed at a certain school for more than 2 years. And in every school she's been, it's always the same. Everyone thinks she's weird, shy, and.... DIFFERENT.

She let out a sigh before entering the gates of Xavier Institute. Little does she know... She's not gonna be DIFFERENT in that place. Not anymore.

Nyx padded up to the gates in her wolf form. She almost always laid in front of the gates after everyone got home. All she had to do was worry about Mr. Logan going off. Someone stepped on her tail and her fur and the few feathers she had in this form bristled as she growled at the person.

Sky jumped as she felt something 'Hairy' which felt like a wolf tail.

"Oh! I'm sorry!!" She exclaimed at the wolf. Which, in some way, felt.... HUMAN.

Nyx sniffed the girl before turning slightly, to show she was a mutant as well. Only another mutant could smell so much like a dog without actually being a full dog.

Sky looked at the wolf in amazement. Could it be? Could it be that she's someone like... her.

"Uumm.. If you don't mind my asking. Are you, in some way, be..... Human?" She asked even though she knew that it was extremely stupid of her to ask a wolf if she was human. But she had to know. She had to know if someone is the same as her. In a way or another.

She gave her best to nod and actually look at least somewhat human.

Sky stood there in shock. Did the wolf just nod at her? Did it understand her? Is it.... HUMAN?

But still she wasn't convinced. "Well.. if you're human why don't you be human," she said. If the wolf was actually a wolf it would run away in the forest or something like that.

Nyx slowly changed back, laughing the entire time. "You act like you've never seen a shape shifter!" she howled. "Didn't the wings give it away?!"

Sky jumped back as the wolf became human.

"So You are human!" She said. "I, for one, never knew someone was.. same as me. For the last 15 years of my life, I've been left to believe that I was Different.... And that I don't... BELONG. It's pretty sad actually."

"Well, you reacted better than Jake did," Nyx smiled. "You tallked."

"Who's Jake?" Sky asked, being all talkative now.

"A guy who lives here," Nyx answered.

"Oh.. I see.. So tell me more about this place. I'm kinda new the whole 'Mutant' thing" Sky said with a soft smile on her face. Cool... this place happens to have a built-in 'friend-finder' software.

Evan wanted it to be like old times. He slid down the railing with his skateboard and saw two girls there. "Hey, I'm Evan, AKA Spyke."

Nyx changed back, growling at him the entire time. She stepped forward in between Sky and Evan. Her blue eyes showing only hostility.

Sky glared at Nyx. "Hey.. it's not polite to growl at people... My mum always told me that"

"Sorry about her," she apologized.
"HI, I'm Sky Scamander," she said, offering a handshake.

She ignored Sky. Something about Evan seemed familiar for one reason or another. Nyx bit down on Evan's ankle.

Evan made a spike plate in his ankle so all the dog would be biting is a spike plate. Evan didn't get any pain.

"Hi, are you new the Institute?"

Sky shot a glare at Nyx and faced Evan.

"Well.. yeah.. actually," She said with a smile.

(Seeing as y'all aren't at a good start, I'm just going to say sorry for whatever she does.)

"Well welcome to the Xavier institute. What's your power? Mines this." evan said and then had a spike come out his hand with fire, then retracted it.

(I'm apologizing for whatever Nyx does.)

(Actually.. I think you're sister is pretty cool at role play)
