"Than we'll offer them a home with their kind with people they can trust and if they dont like it there maybe Master Magneto can talk with the Professor about them." said Sean nicely.

"And how will that work out if the Professor's dead?" Jake asked, not believing a word of that last bit. The only person of brotherhood (personality wise) he might *trust* would be Matt.

Sean said "Than we'll inform the teachers. By the way we've been caring for the Tunnel People. They call themselves the Morlocks. Here let me take you to see them." as he magnetically moved a sewer entrance and dropped into the tunnel.

"Morlocks." Jake echoed in disbelief at the rediculus name. "Hold on, let me get my shoes." Jake called down. Every fiber of his being disagreed with going into a sewer with a guy who just tried to kill him. But curiosity won out and he lowered to human form again and put on his jacket and shoes. Then he dropped into the tunnel after the guy.

Sean led him over to the part of the tunnel where the Morlocks were. "Thats Callisto, Leader of the Morlocks. Her powers are Superhuman Senses and Capablities. Good fighter. Callisto this is Jake, an X-Men."

Callisto said "X-Men. Well nice to beat you but dont try anything. Sean here told me about you guys."

"I hope you mean meet." Jake said cooly, only half joking. "Besides, what could I try?" Jake hated being underground, it made him feel slightly claustrophobic.

Callisto said "Look at my Morlocks. They starve to death. Mystique was nice enough to give us food. She would have took us in the Mansion but you X-Men would come looking for a fight. Besides why do you care about us while you live in your fancy big mansion with that bald snob you call a professor."

Sean nodded.

"Hey- calm down, I'm not looking for a fight. I care because it's right. I've been in a similar situation. Not quite living underground, but simmilar." He thought for a moment. "If it's so bad down here, why not move in with them?" JAke asked, shoving a thumb in the guy's direction.

Callisto said "The X-Men are growing everyday, more powerful."

Sean said "We would have tooken them in but the X-Men would come attacking us. Some fo your X-Men know the Morlocks, and I'm sure with Cerebro you could track them down and destory the Mansion but we're willing to take that risk" and he told Callisto and the Morlocks the way to the Brotherhood Mansion and they ran there before people could see.

"Why would we do that...." He honestly couldn't think of anyone from the institute who would attack someone just for being there.

Sean said "Simple. You would think we're training them to attack you. All you X-Men never cared about us and so I side with the Brotherhood and when Magneto picks his select few you will know us as the Acolytes."

"I don't know about never." Jake said, thinking about Matt and Kiki. "But maybe you think that you're attitude and the fact that you pick fights may have to do with people not liking you?"

"No noone ever liked me. When I was 10 years old my own best friend got me expelled from school because my powers developed. My mom betrayed me to the police and my father saw me only as a weapon. I had to survive in the wilderness for 5 years." said Sean sad.

Jake didn't know how to respond. He felt his arm. "The wilderness isn't *that* bad." He muttered, that being the only thing he could say.

Sean said "I was constantly hunted by agencies such as SHIELD, HYDRA, and Weapon x until eventually they gave up than I was found by Magneto and Mystique. By the way ahve Matt or Kiki friends of mine ever gone to the Institute and stayed there for a while."

Jake decided he had enough of these guys. "I didn't ask for your life's story. You aren't the only one in the world who's had things tough. Maybe instead of beating up the people you don't like, change their minds. Show them you aren't the bad guy. It's harder, but it works out better in the end." With that Jake turned to leave the way he came.

Sean said "Look sorry If I came off tough but Im not the bad guy. Magneto doesnt want revenge on humans but he just wants to teach them a lesson. He has the same dream as Charles but thinks his dream isnt working. I guess I can stay at the Institute for a while."

"You can do whatever you want. I'm not a recruiter, I really don't care brotherhood or xmen. *My* goal isn't as simple as a lesson." Jake opened his mouth to say more, but clamped it shut again. He just growled and continued walking away. He hated it when people were wishy-washy more than when they were going for a stupid cause. He had just been talking about killing the Professor and stealing Cerebro with such passion. He wasn't nieve enough to believe he just wanted to hang out with the xmen just like that.

Sean said "I see so you're just neutral. My goal is to get revenge on my captors and to give MutantKind a place in this world. There were times I dreamed of epace between humanity and mutants. That didnt work. The only choice was to have mutants be the superior race. I wont go attacking the Institute yet till I get orders from Magneto who wil have a talk with tonight." than started walking away.

Jake left, rolling is eyes at the guy.
Peace doesn't happen on a whim. You didn't try.

MutantKind have to be superior. Humans dont want peace. With the Sentinels ready for activation. They want a War! Sean left knowing he had a rival, nonetheless it was time for a meeting with Magneto and Mystique "By the way Jake, nice mutation, and nice fighting with you."

Jake didn't bother answering. He just left.

Sean nodded and left.
