Relaxing Walk

Jean walked around the park, relaxing.

Jake slowly slunk forward, stalking a bird. He was a cat right now. he got tired of roaming the house and frankly he felt like trying to hunt again.
He waved his tail.
come on little birdy.... i wont hurt you.. i just want to see if i can.... CAtch you!
He leaped at the bird but it took off right above his paws. He sat down.
Dang it. missed agian.

Jean caught the sight of the cat and decided to watcha dn see if he would tyr another attempt. She leaned against a tree.

Jake gave a yawn. He looked around for another bird. So far he could catch mice, rats and even rabbits(one lucky catch....) but when it came to birds all he could catch was feathers. He batted a feather in annoyance. He glanced up. All the birds were now in the trees or flying away.
Man. Now I got to wait ages. He flicked his tail impatiently, trying to will a bird into flying back down. He soon gave up and yawned. He let his mind drift as he laid down.

Jean watched him and then decided to walk to away. She walked right past the cat and continued on her walk

Jake jumped as someone walked past him. He pricked his ears and raised his head. He reconized her as Jean from this institute. He tilted his head, wondering if he should call atention to himself.

Jean found a bench and sat down for a bit. She leaned back and watched the sky

Having nothing better to do he got up and hopped ontop of the bench Jean was sitting on.
He waved is tail, curious on how'd she react to what he was going to do next.
"Hiya!"

Jean jumped at the voice. SHe looked around and saw the cat from before. "Did you just say something??"

Jake almost laughed. It was fun messing with people's heads like this.
"Yup."

Jean looked at him and then looked away. "I am going crazy."

"Nope." Jake said with an amused air. "Just talking to a shapeshifting cat. Nothing much."

Jean looks at him. "Wait.... Jake??"

Jake gave a grin, which looked rather odd as a cat.
"Yup. I can do a couple other animals, maybe more."

Jean rubbed his head. "Don't ever scare me like that again."

Jake laid back an ear as she petted him.
"Aww... but it's fun screwing with people..." He said, tail waving happily.

"Just be careful when those people can get you back." She said smirking

"Uh...." Jake said, his tail stopping for a moment. he laid back an ear in thought. "Should I be worried?"

"Not at all...." She said with an assuring smile

Jake gave a carefree shrug. (again, wierd when a cat does it.)
He licked his shoulder subconsisly.
"So. What are you up to?"

"Just trying to relax." She leaned back in the bench

"Oh. Well I'm guessing I'm not helping that cause." Jake said plainly.

"It's fine." She said running her fingers through her hair

"Good." Jake yawned. "Because i dont feel like leaving yet. It's nice outside today."

Wes found herself walking in the park for no apparent reason, drinking dew and thinking: this is bad, i shouldnt be in another forest...
She looks ahead and sees Jean sitting on a bench by some weird object. Coming closer, she says, "hello Jean..."
