Matt vs Evan.

Matt walked into a site, this one was a big project and had been getting worked on for a while.
"Look good? No one is working today."
He cracked his knuckles befor he took a few steps away from him.

Evan walked over. "Are you ready dude?" he said.

Matt took a pack of cards from his pocket, he flipped the top and removed an almost full deck.
"You should learn to worry about yourself."
He charged a card and tossed it at him before jumping up onto a platform.

Evan just cut the card in with his flaming spyke.

As Evan cut the card it exploded, Matt smiled but keep tossing cards, now he aimed 3 towards him. He then began to move to the right.

He had spikes all over and hit them. He then shot a hot flaming spike at Matt. With the impact from the card he fell back on his butt then got back up. ((The flaming spikes is the stuff he does at the last season of X-men Evo))

(I'm not understanding your post... you didn't shoot a spike, so shouldn't you be taking a hit point blank? Then you should be knocked off balance and burned at least.
Also, i have no issue with your powers, you did however take it up with staff already right?)

((Ok he cut up the card and then shot a spike at you))

(Thats how i read it. But what i'm saying is Matt's power makes that card explosive, when you cut it it would get set off, that would cause burning and should knock you off balance.)

(Don't forget, even when you take a hit, Matt's still throwing cards(you seem to have omited the last 3). Leaving Evan little time to do anything.)

Matt kept switching from beam to beam, the movement made the attacks useless. while he stoped for a few seconds to toss three more cards, then jumped down to the next beam.
(just so you know, matt has enhanced agility - thats why he can moved around the beams of the building so easy.)

Evan dodged the cards and shot more spikes. Then he jumped on a built roof and climed on it with his spikes going away.

(You jumped on a roof? a stroy is about 9-10 feet, thats one hell of a jump.(he does play basketball tho) I also assumed this to be a Commercial building, making it was bigger...)

Matt kicked himself up useing the side of a wall then pushed himself up the the next beam - again effectively dodgeing the attack. He watched Evan as he grabbed a ledge then tossed a card, He wasn't aiming for Evan, he was aiming to take out the ledge that was holding him up.

Evan dodged but and jumped on another ledge but he swallowed some hot ash from the explosion. He coughed and clime higher up and then take spikes to his feet he walked up. IT was like he climbed upside down from a freaking bat cave.

Matt kept tossing cards(3) above him, he decided that the higher he gets the worse off he was, because direct attacks were not working, it was a better idea to use the materials above him.

Evan jumped down from the roof and started running. He could run till for ever sense he was in basketball but matt other hand couldnt so when mat got tired out Evan would attack Matt.

Matt smiled, he played right into his hand. He wasn't going to lose a game of stamina.
"You should just give up, i have you beat every way."
Matt stood where he was, he didn't need to move yet, Evan still had to climb to get to him, so he kept the high ground.

Evan smiled. He hit the walls and making the walls get Spykes out of them the blding got full of spikes so even if Matt got down he would be stabbed. "Dont get cut bitch" He said.

Matt wasted no time to begin throwing cards down at Evan again, he didn't bother reacting to the comment. When he started climbing he had just as much chance of falling.

((I should've mentioned that i put them on the roof so you wouldh have to be floating not to get stabbed))

(No? I haven't read anything about spyke that hints he can hit a wall and create spikes, that's outside of his abilities.)

Matt kept moving, he made dodgeing the spikes seem like an easy task, when he saw an opening he tossed a card, the idea was still to force him back, not cause damage.

Evan cut them up then he got out a spike and used it as a sword. He attacked and slashed a him while on the roof.

(you have to climb something to reach matt(as he's not at ground level), and i tossed a card already to force you to move... you just ignored it.)
