Break-In... Again with the Topic Letters?

Logan growled, loudly, he was even more serious then he usually was as he started into a sprint, he was alot faster then both of the younger X-men, quickly passing Kitty and catching up to Jake.
(Ha... i'm posting it the way i think it'd still play out, but kittys faster then jake...)

(True but Kitty started a bit late from shock ^^)

Prof. X scans the invaders mind in an attempt to figure out where she was going. "She's headed for great hall. Try and cut her off."

((Alexis thinks in French. I don't know if the prof. Speaks French, but it doesn't really matter.))

Alexis sprinted up the wall on her right, her tail swinging, the helmet with it. She sprinted up the wall on all fours, jumpng up through the rouf and into a hall. Unsure of where she was, she ran up the wall to her left and kept going until she reach the roof, in there, with the lights still switched off, she was invisible.

(oh, sorry- I was confused on the order when I looked then I was gone and yah....)
Jake quickly climbed out of the window to get to the roof, the most obvious point of escape. Besides, he'd be able to see better. He slipped into his half-form. He scanned the roof for any signs of the intruder. He growled as he spotted some movement.

Kitty took off, full speed, inching over to the wall as she continued the chase. Once close enough she phased through the hallway wall. Her "short cut" halved the distance between their current location and the roof. Phasing through the wood work of the mansion allowed her to reach the roof shortly after Jake.

Logan saw Jake running to the roof, the kid was doing something right, and it'd make his job easier. Logan dediced to run out the front door, he was fast enough that he should be able to cut off the theif, When he was outside he ran the tree line that connected to the Institute. The only other route was down a street, it was well lighted so the theif couldn't hide - the only real choice was to try and sneak past him.

Alexis sat there in the darkness, hidden, and waiting.

(Umm... I'm a bit confused to where you are now... you're on the roof right?)

Evan skateboarded and saw a brotherhood boy. Evan quickly shot spikes out of his arm trying to hit him.

(Umm... spike- there's no brotherhood. Matt's rping as Logan... and this is kinda the middle of the night.)

Jake snuck forward slowly, unsure of whether or not the thing he had saw was the intruder. A tiger's eyesight was good- but the tiger part of him lost interest when the movement stopped.
He decided to start to be diplomatic... not normally his thing but it might get the thief to move.
"Come on... we aren't going to hurt you- we just need that thing you took back." He said softly. Only a mutant could put up a chase like this.

"Can't you, like, sniff them out or something?" Kitty asked looking around the roof for any sign of movement.

Evan thought he had the thief but he didnt. "Man" Spyke whispered.

(umm... dude you came out of like no where... and we're on the roof. Except for logan. Besides I don't think Spyke has a habit of skateboarding in the middle of the night)

Got a pretty good idea off his post tho.)

Logan kept running the line he's made, he was focused on the theif and almost didn't notice the threat from the forest, but it was too late when he did. He was knocked down by a small explosion, then as started to stand he was hit again, he repeated this for a few time until he was unable to stand.
A low grunt may have been heard from the roof, but he tried to keep it to himself. Needless to say the explosion would be heard.

Matt waited at the edge of the forest, it wasn't his job to keep this one guy down - it was to make sure who-ever it was Magneto was useing was doing there job right and to assist in the escape. He didn't move forward, he decided to cover the person from the treeline where a counter attack would be hard to make, and so far it was working.

Alexis kept still were she was, she was a thief, and she knew when to be patient.

"I can, but I'm not so good at i-" Jake dropped to a crouch as he was nearly deafened by the sudden noise that broke the silence. "What was that....?" Jake growled, trying to focus again. He snuck forward to the faint smell of someone new.

"Jake! Like, focus will ya?" Kitty said angrily in a hushed tone. "Whatever it is, Mr. Logan can take care of himself!"
