Personality: Kurt is a fun loving, enthusiastic member of the X-Men, and is often considered the joker of his group of friends. He has a great sense of humor that his friends love, even if they do see him as an annoying little brother type. He loves to party, goof around, and his favorite food is fast food cheeseburgers. Once in a while he can be somewhat flirtatious around certain girls. He loves to tease and chase Kitty around the mansion, and one time tried using mistletoe to get a kiss from her. Kurt often hides and hangs around in odd locations. A consequence to this good nature is that it can sometimes lead him into trouble and, at times, everyone will be confused whether or not he is actually being serious or just fooling around like usual. An example of this type of situation would be when Toad accidentally transported Kurt into the Middleverse while messing around with Forge's device. The rest of the X-Men thought Kurt was playing his usual practical jokes in and around the school, due to his wild attitude earlier in the day, but eventually realized he was really in trouble. On the other hand, Kurt knows when to put aside the jokes and be serious. He is also very curious and tries to learn more about his past.

Despite his demonic appearance, Kurt is the extreme polar opposite of a demon. He really loves and cares about his friends and will try to cheer someone up if they are having a bad day. Though he may seem like a perfectly happy, care free person, Kurt does in fact have problems of his own. He is very sensitive about his appearance and fears that the public and his peers will discover his true identity beyond the holographic image he hides behind. Because of this, he can be very shy at times, and won't let most "normal" people touch his hands or skin, since his watch doesn't hide every aspect about him.

Appearance: Blue Fur, Demonic Appearance, Yellow Eyes, Prehensile Tail, Three Fingered Hands & Two Toed Feet, Long Indigo Hair

Bio: His mother is the shapeshifting mutant Mystique (Raven Darkholme), and his biological father is a demonic looking mutant named Azazel (however, the knowledge of his father's identity remains a mystery to him), but he didn't know this until after Rogue accidentally absorbed his memories and started having nightmares about his history. When Kurt was just a baby, Magneto and a pack of wolves chased Mystique, who was carrying Kurt in her arms, through a forest on a freezing winter night. She was trapped on a rope bridge and accidentally dropped Kurt over the side, and into the icy river below. Miraculously, Kurt survived the fall and the cold, and was swept down the river all night. The next morning, a gypsy lady discovered him and gave him to a middle aged couple, the Wagner's, who unofficially adopted him and raised him. Kurt's foster parents truly cared for him, but he was not able to interact with the public and the outside world because of inevitable rejection due to his appearance.

During his early adolescence, however, Kurt joined the circus where the gypsy worked and, because of his natural talent in acrobatics, became the star of the show and earned a nickname, "Nightcrawler". Also, it wasn't until his adolescence that he developed his Teleportation powers.

Finally, at the age of 16, Kurt was discovered by Professor Charles Xavier, who offered him a home at the Xavier Institute, and a place on the X-Men team. He moved to Bayville, New York and was picked up by Ororo Munroe and Xavier himself, who escorted him to the Institute. Upon arrival, Xavier gave Kurt an image inducer, a holographic watch, which would allow him to appear "normal" and attend high school, as well as his official X-Men uniform. Kurt now actively attends Bayville High School with his friends from the Xavier Institute.
