Cutting class.

Matt walked into the mall, he wasn't tall or big, but he somehow managed to never draw attention to himslf. With his white hair he assumed people just didn't like to make a scene about it.
"Where too anyway, i don't realy need anything, just happy being out of class."

Kitty let out a laugh "Hey I'm the one who's never done this before. Whatever you want to do I'm game." She smiled enjoying the thrill the adreniline gave her. This was by far the worst thing she had ever done.

"Never done it before, i'm sure you've been to the mall more then me, there's no difference."
Matt said, he had no issie, it wasn't like he had anyone who cared about where he went. But he did want to look at the thrift shop, just because there was usually a good deal for something.
"Don't mind looking in a second hand shop eh, you can find some good collectable stuff thats off todays market, usually cheap too."

Kitty nodded enthusiaticly "Yeah, that sounds great!" She headed off to the thrift shop like a little girl going to disney world for the first time.

"I'd just look out, alot of stuff there is crap."
Matt pointed out before reaching the shop, it seemed like someone was getting kicked out. At a closer glance he could see Toad, figured.
"Come on man, i haven't done nothin."
He saw the owner make a point that he was stealing, and got caugh,t just not loud enough to hear the words. With a threat to call the cops and make a scene he backed up and out of the shop, noticeing Matt.
"Hey man, shouldn't you be in class like a good little boy?"
"Oh yea, right, where should you be?"
He answered, he didn't realy like the guy, but he tried not to call him down, too many people did.

Kitty noticed Toad and Matt. She stayed close but tried not to interfere with them

"Ahh, yea about that... School aint no good anyway. Any plans today?"
"Yea, I'm going in here."
Matt said before he took a step into the store.
"Naw man, come on let go rob some coins from the arcade or something.
"I"ll hit the arcade in a few. Next time you shouldn't get caught."
Toad took a step back and walked towards the arcade-Matt being one of the few people who Toad wasn't lied to or yelled at daily seemed to trust him pretty quickly. He was caught up enough in the events that he didn't notice Kitty standing near-by.

Kitty forced her smile to stay upon her face "Everything all right?"

"Yea, the guys got it rough tho."
Matt said before he started to look at the front of the store. He had it alot easyer then him, he was just raised in a better household.
"Not like it's his fault or anything, just got a bad cut of the deal, and poeple aren't too nice to him either."

"I can't even imagine what that must be like..." Kitty thought about how her life would have been diffrent if she didn't have the parents she did, if no one cared. It proved to be to difficult and she refocused herself on the shop "So you come here often?"

"Yea, from time to time. Ever notice how easy it is for people to repressed things that are different from them... no offence or anything, but we all do it. But i do try to pay more attention to people now."
Matt wasn't trying to make a refence as to why he was in the brotherhood, but it was the same theory.
"You don't learn to look at things like that in school, thats why i don't like it there."

"Hm I suppose you have a point." Kitty said looking for a way to counter "But if you skip school all your life you can't learn what society expects you to know to be succesful." She smirked a bit.

"I don't think i'll have much to worry about. I mean, you know, you haven't seen my abiities or anything yet have you?"
Matt asked, he had seen her's when he sliped up, but he just hit him that she hasn't been around anytime he's shown his own powers.

Kitty shook he head "Nope you haven't really mentioned them either."

"Yea, its not realy an indoor type thing, unless you wanna be outdoors when im done."
Mat shrugged, he hadn't realy thought of powers as a topic for conversation, but he hadn't woundered anything about her powers, because he'd been shown the first day.
"Ever bug you, not knowing?"

She shrugged , looking at diffrent iteams placed on shelves "Not really. There's countless people in the mansion I've met and I have no idea what they do so I guess it hasn't really bothered me."

"Sounds fair, but i would recomend questioning hings more, otherwise you'll never know whats going on around you."
Matt moved towards the small stack of games, it was usually just trash, but every once and a while someone would throw out something good, but today wasn't that day.

She gave another shrug as she continued rummaging through the shelves "Suppose you're right..."

"Yea, anyway what do you usually do for fun, i pretty much just look for games or some decks of cards. So i assume your life is more interesting then mine."
Matt walked to the counter, he didn't find anything today, so he was just waiting.

"Oh I d-" She cut herself off before she said dance "Do a lot of training sessions with my friends." Nice save. Sshe thought to herslef sarcastically.

"Training, i wouldn't have guessed, but hey... Guess there's alot to people. Personally i would rather avoid training like the plague."
Matt didn't see her as the kind of person who enjoyed training, more like the person who would cry when she had to do any sort of activity... But not to say much Matt had a bad habbit of just disappering when he should be doing something he didn't like.
"Intresting thought tho."

Kity laugheed "Yeah its not so bad though. 3 diffrent insturctors so you get a lot of diffrent training sessions."

"guess it makes sense, i mean we can't even realy use our training area, most of us risk destorying the house..."
Matt woundered what their training was like, he saw how rich everything was, so it would all be top of the line stuff.

Kitty bit her bottom lip before peaking "Well... The X-men are always open to new members..." She knew that the attempt would most likely be futile but it was worth a shot.

"does that offer have details... I hear it's strick, and i show up for school less then the rest of the brotherhood, was told that was more then too much."
Matt said, not realy getting into his habbits, he didn't hate the idea of the X-men, just the requirements of going to school, not using his powers, and showing up at a time for things like training or a curfure.
