| Jake tapped the sign on the outer wall. They were very familiar words. To him, the sign might as well have said home.
He grinned. "Long time no see." He said softly. He was human right now, donning his usual jacket and jeans. His metal arm clicked as he rolled his shoulders. He started walking along the path. Memories came back to him as he pushed open the gate. He had so many great times here, even in the danger room. Would his friends be here still? How many new recruits joined up with them? What were they like?
"Well, not going to find out standing out here." Jake chuckled to himself. He pushed open the doors and walked inside. | |
