Marcy's powers are based on her ability to shape-shift into spiders. At will, she can change her shape into that of any spider she has seen, whether in books, movies, or every-day life.

She can also change the size of the spider. That can range from human sized to smaller than a finger nail. However, the larger the spider, the more energy it takes. She actually can conserve energy when becoming smaller.

She can communicate with Spiders telepathically, and uses them to view the outside world.

Every night, she unwillingly changes into a spider-like creature until dawn. She doesn't know why she changes, just that she does. Currently she is working on stopping that change, but has had little success.

Personality:

Mysterious, dark, and shy, Marcy is a definite loner. She often will ignore everyone who tries to communicate with her, and spends most of her time hidden away in her "house", which is really an abandoned shack.

Marcy doesn't hate humans, but she doesn't really like them either. To her, they're just like flies. Annoying, but a part of life.

Appearance:

Marcy has dark brown skin that looks black, white, waist-length, wavy hair, and stormy gray eyes. She is 5'6", and has long legs. She has a spider-like appearance in the dark (like, at night. Not just any random shadow)---her legs turn into spider legs, and she grows six other ones, making the bottom half of her body spider. She will grow spider fangs, and three more pairs of eyes, giving her eight eyes that glow red,

She usually wears long-sleeved, turtle neck shirts, elbow length gloves, long jeans and knee-high boots. She often is seen wearing a hooded jacket, and never seems to put the hood down.

Bio:

Marcy was born at her parent's home. Through the first couple of hours after her birth she constantly shifted into different spiders. Her parents were terrified, and left her in their home. They then moved away, leaving three-day old Marcy alone. Because of Marcy's spider instincts, she was able to survive by herself, and made friends with the spiders that moved into the abandoned shack. She lived by herself until she was fourteen. One of her spiders reported to her of an Institute, a place where she could live and work on her powers. She didn't actually approach the Institute until almost her sixteenth birthday. She was accepted and brought to live there, and has been there for the past month.
