Graphics for the site

So yesterday I was playing around with Photoshop literally the entire day, and this is what I came up with for a Banner. http://kikiabraxan.deviantart.com/#/d4xqrms

I thought it would be a good size to advertise in Topics on other websites, but I can make it bigger for this website's banner. When playing around with Photoshop, my mind kept going back to the 2 most important words in the site's title, "Rise" and "Mutants", and kept imagining an eclipse/sunrise-like light emerging from behind a planet with the Canons faces in the "sky" above it.

If something particular was in mind for advertising graphics I can make something else.

That looks good, I can't make anything better and I think we could use a bit of change.

ono I don't want a big site change. Lets keep the background and stuff. But I do think we could use a new banner~

The contest sounds fun! I might be able to pull something together for that... If I can clear stitchpunks from my mind. I'd also possibly be able to work on ads on some sites. Mostly random ones I find advertised everywhere else. Great graphic by the way! Looks awesome!

Thanks! lol I attempted actual "eclipse" tutorials, but I kept getting confused, doesnt happen much when it comes to Photoshop, I can usually figure things out, but those tutorials ended up giving me a major headache last night, literally!! I felt like crap when I went to bed. I ended up just making the eclipse light myself, pretty pleased with how it turned out.

I'll work on some other graphics and stuff if any ideas pop into my mind. Also, should I make that banner bigger to fit the same size as the current one?

Oh hell yes. The last banner contest was so hectic and fun.
