Early Snow (Storm/Chace/open)

Shadow remembered how Chace had said he loved the snow. In truth, she hated the cold, but maybe an early bit of snow would do him some good. Now to get Storm to agree.

Shadow started sniffing out Ms. Munroe until finally spotting her. "Um... Ms.Munroe?" she asked.

Ororo turned from the plant she was attending to at the moment to see one of the newer students had approached her. "Yes? What is it, child?"

"I know this'll make me seem like a jerk, but the reason seems semi-good. Chace doesn't really feel like he fits in apparently, but I know this'll make him happy," Shadow rambled. " Can you maybe um... make it snow a tiny bit? It won't make him actually feel like he belongs, but it might make him happy and give everyone else around here a bit of cheer." She felt like a bitch for asking, but thought there were a few good benefits for almost everyone.

Ororo's eyebrows quirked up a bit at the request "Well it would seem rather strange at this time of year, but prehaps I could limit it to the back yard."

"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!" Shadowsong squealed, hugging Ororo. She backed away when she'd realized what she had done. Yikes this place getting to her! "Sorry. Just tell me when to get Chace."

Ororo smiled and gave Shadow a little nod. "It shouldn't take too long, go find him now and bring him out." With that the godess got to work conjuring up a clound right over the backyard. She focusd her energy on said clound, freezing the water inside. Sure enough, snow began to fall for the X-men.

"Okay," Shadow said with a smile before running off.

Catching Chace's scent wasn't the easiest, but she eventually found him. Shadowsong tried sneaking up behind him, but tripped over her own feet. "Well no use with that plan." She tapped his shoulder and told him to go outside.

chace walked up and looke at Shadow. he had felt so bad for leaving for a bit. but he had things to do that he didn't want ehr involved in. "Hi Shadow. Sorry...." He wasn't sure what she meant by go outside, so chace walked outside with shadow.

"It's fine, just look," Shadow instructed as she pointed around. "I asked a real big favor from Ms. Munroe."

chace looked at the snow, and stared at it very confused. Staring at the snow chace wasn't sure what to make for it. Turning to shadow, he wasn't sure about it and not sure what to do. "what am I supposed to do with it?" Chace looked up and saw that it was to the backyard. Holding out his hand he caught a snow flake, looking at it sadly. "thank you. don't know why, but thank you."

"You'd said you liked snow, and I thought it would cheer you up,"Shadow smiled. "I'm sorry if you don't like it."

chace stared at shadow for a moment. "I'm sorry. it just caught me off guard.' chace's face went beat red, leaning over he kissed her on the cheek. "Thank you so much Shadow. wish there was something you would let me do..." Chace pilled Shadow up and fell into the snow with her laughing.

"No way, if you want to do something for me, we'll find duct tape and lock James in his room," Shadowsong offered before he grabbed her. "Hey! I knew I'd fall in eventually but I thought the ice would get me, not you!" She laughed and grabbed a small mound of snow before dropping it on Chace's nose.
