Mojave 2279

Finally, after those many weeks ago I told you I was probably going to make my own Fallout rp, IT IS DONE! Oh God, you guys do not know how much I've put into this damn site. So many locations....

Anywho here's the basics. For those of you who play Fallout it takes place two years before New Vegas in the Mojave wasteland. Cannons are accepted and it's basically a free world role play.

For those of you who haven't played fallout but have read this far, Fallout it a post-nuclear apocalyptic rpg (thus making it integrate into tfroum rp's easily). New Vegas takes place in what is now known as the Mojave Wastleand which includes the Old World Las Vegas and the surrounding area. All of our faction are explained on the site, but the basic gist is to survive as comfortably as possible in a irradiated wasteland. If you have any questons let me know. Also to non-Fallout players, get at least one of these games. Soooo good.

What year would the nuclear apocalypse have happened? How old would you need to be to have had a normal jobs and have needed to adapt or would has it been long enough that everyone has been raised in an apocalyptic condition?

The bombs fell in 2077 (via the Chinese incase you were wondering). We've got just over 200 years so the Wasteland is the norm, however survival is still difficult. All ages are common. One of the factions, the Legion, tends to use child soilders. However, that doesn't mean that all ages are safe, life span really varries to the point where there is no average life span.

Alright, I was just typing up a bio that including a past life(a normal life and normal job) but now that needs to be edited.

Well you can include it, Ghouls are irradiated to the point where they're natural life span increased. Some were alive before the bombs fell.

I'm just looking to make a simple human, nothing special aside from what he has trained to excel in.

Would all of the fractions have existed for a while as well, or is it common to see new ones rise and old fall? General age of each would be nice.

They've all been established for a while with the exception of the Fiends. The Legions been around for about 20 years, the NCR for for 80, the Brotherhood is from before the war, Followers of the Apocalypse is about 180 years.

Us there any weapon that can completely destroy the world?

I kinda want it make a character who wants to destroy the world, but can't work the weapons that he needs to do so. :P

Not really. Sorry, bud.

There is one weapon called the fat man. It fires miniuature nukes. (though mini nukes are extremely rare to come across) Not an instant kill explosion, but it leaves the area irradiated.
