Porch of the House

Brandon was sitting on the bench on the front porch. It was Saturday, a nice relaxing day. He was just leaning back looking up at the sky.

Matt woke up at 11, it was the same time as he had ever other day, so for this week he missed a total of 4 mornings and 2 afternoons. Combining that with the rest of the brotherhoods school, or lack of, and the phone was ringing off the wall with complaints from the teachers. He walked down the stairs and got something to eat, before walking into the living room and turning on the TV to see the saterday morning cartoons.
"Oh yea, no school."
Matt said before he finished and turned off the TV before starting out the door.

Brandon looked over at Matt.
"Hey."
He said with a big grin playing on his face.

"Hey, where is the mall, i've looked for it last night, but i haven't found it."
He said before leaning on the wall of the house.
"i hear you managed to cause that kid from the construction site some damage, what is up with them anyway. I got that we airn't like them, but its not like their're in our way."

"Go down that street. Take a left. Walk for about three miles. Then a right on Laverd Street and keep going down. Then your there."
Brandon said then looked at Matt.
"Yes they are. Once you graduate and go on missions for the Brotherhood you will realize how much of pests they are."

"Alright thanks, need anything?"
Matt said before he started down the steps and towards the mall.
"It seems that a few of the X-men know as much as i do about this, does that make sense?"

"Most of them are in High School. They won't go on missions yet so yes."
Brandon said sighing.
"I'll go with you."
He said standing up and walking over to Matt.

"Sure your up for a 3 mile walk, i mean was just going to play a game on the way. Got a car or something?"
Matt asked, he was more then old enough, and it wasn't like it just left with no money, so he should have some means of transportation.

"Of course."
Brandon said taking the keys out.
"It's a Toyota Corrola."
He said as the garage opened. He unlocked the car and stepped in and waited for Matt.

"That'll make life easyer. Mind if i borrow this from time to time?"
Matt said before he took a seat in the car.
"Any good music?"

"No problem. You gotta fill it up though."
Brandon said smiling. He opened the center console.
"Take your pick."

"Any Maiden, Distubed, or A7X?"
Matt said before he started looking at the CD's.

"I have Disturbed and Maiden."
Brandon said as he started the car. He opened the cd player as he put it in reverse and backed out of the driveway.
"Just press AUX after you have it in."
He said starting to drive down the street.

"Maiden."
Matt said grabbing the CD and presses AUX, the CD stated playing 'Alexander the Great'.

Brandon tapped on the steering wheel as he drove.
"So you have your license?"
He asked as he turned.

"Well, i have a canadian one, not one for the States. I can drive."
Matt shrugged, he didn't have any issues driving.
"I look older then 16, i dont get stoped. Plus its not like i'd go as far as to destory the underhood of your car by breaking the law, that'll wait till i have my own car."

Brandon laughed as they turned onto the long road. He pressed down on the gas as they began to speed.
"So..you like hard rock huh?"
He asked still listening.

Matt nodded.
"When i play music, this is it. What do you usually play?"
Matt asked, more or less just passing time.

"Anything really. I don't like country and only some rap."
Brandon said shrugging as they pulled up to the mall. He pulled in and parked it.
"Ready?"
