It about these people who can use cool Powers.

Peter Petrelli-28 year old man who can use anyones power when he thinks of them.
Nathan Petrelli-30 year old man who can fly.
Hiro Nakamura-24 year old Japanesse man who can stop time. Teleport. Go to past and future.
Claire Bennet- 16 year old girl who has the power to grow back limbs and heal. In other words she indestructible.
Matt Parkman-30 year old man who is a telepath.
Molly Walker-10 year old girl who has the power of Clairyovance.
Micah Sanders-Incerdibly smart 10 year old who is a technopath. Niki Sanders- 29 year old with super strong powers. Mom of Micah.
DL Hawkins-A 29 year old black ex-con who can phase through Walls. Powers like Kitty Pryde. Dad of Micah and husband of Niki.

I'll be the first to say I'm ignorant to things on TV today.

I'm guessing it has it's own selling point but it doesn't mean anything to me and will never compete with the shows I've grown up with.

I never got into Hero's, though I must say that Peter guy's power is pretty god-moddish, I mean atleast Rouge has to touch said person, she can't contrl her power, and it is potentially dangerous.

Yeah. I tried watching it but after dragging myself through the first series I gave up.

HEROES ARE BORING!

Before you say heroes could kill x-men, ya right. We could kill them in seconds. Oh, and the girl, all you have to do is cut off her head and keep it from her neck.

No dude she can regrow her head. You must stab her in the back of the head. And keep the knife in. And if the haitan was around none of us could use our powers, And Kitty Peters power is dangerous. When Peter used Teds power he alnost blew NY up. But Nathan came and blew up in the sky. Peter uses Claires power and flys his brother to the hospital. Then in the second season Peters dad somehow comes back from the dead. And peters dads power is he can take away your power. He uses his power to take Peters. While a building is burning Peter goes against his beliefs and takes a shot that gives him a power. He saves his brother. But his power isnt the same he now has touch people. To get a powers. And he can only have one at a time. If he were to touch Sylar he could take all the powers Sylar took and keep them.

Sylar- 30 tear old whos power is to understand things. He can use anyones power and keep it. He just has to kill them. He is unbeatable.

I mean, where are the blue furry people?

I men Sylar in the last episode turned Kurtish like with his powers but then Normal. And walked away.

Personally, i think it'd need to have a bit more fur to be a hero show I'm interested in....
you know... blue teleporting people.... transforming animal people... furry monster-looking people....
I never really watched heroes. The only super-heroish thing i really was into before this site (admittedly, not x-men) was Anamorphs. And thus, my superpower was decided and in fact, Jake's name came from those books.

I tried reading animorphs, but I could never really get into them. The only shape-shifting related book I like is Shiver, but its just wolves. *Wolf freak*

Well, see I read it when I was like in 5th grade, and I loved the idea of changing into animals, and scincey stuff- thus that became a fast favorite
(And then I fell in love with the name Jake and thus, my regular character got his name)

I don't really choose names very well, recently I fell in love with the name Salem. I have always loved the idea of speaking with wolves.

Ok I think many of you are understimating Heroes because its different and you've never seen it before. Heroes actually has a real lif eissues and is more than just some people in tights saving the world.

Sean is right. They cant save the world in an hour. There may be lots of twists and stuff but there isnt a team of people in Spandex.

Wll the X-men aren't entiely about that either. Hell, as of late they're more concerned with saving their own asses after the M-Day incident. The only time the X-men save the world is if something effects the mutants or if their trying to prove that mutants are good.

Yea. Heroes is the same thing too. Except Hiro and Micah try to save the world every season.

Just figured out a dude on heroes has bone spike constricton. Like Evan.

Doesn't suprise me, a lot of Action Tv characters get based off of some aspect of superheros. Buffy was based off of Kitty.
