Running from the world

Akachi hasn't gone back to the brotherhood house for a whole day, she couldn't look or even face Dimitri. She didn't want to bother her friends with it, Climbing up the constructions site, she climbed to the top looking down at the ground as she sat down putting her knees up to her chin.

Alexis had been walking around Bayville for the better half of the day. She had looked everywhere she could think off, short of randomly knocking on peoples doors. She walked home to the brotherhood house. Hoping that Akachi had returned, she took a short cut through the construction site, completly unaware of the pink haired girl above her.

Akachi looked down and saw Alexis, she didn't say anything. but a piece of board fell hitting some of the metal on its way down behind her. "Watch out!!!" Akachi said. She lost her balance and fell trying to catch the board hitting her head on one of the metal beams before she caught herself on one of the metal beams.

Alexis spun around as she heard the sound, instinctively phasing as the board slammed harmlessly through her. She saw Akachi up in the beams, and unsure of wether of not she was okay, she ran up the side of the beams, full-pelt, all fours. Quickly reaching the top of the beam she stopped to inspect Akachi. "Are you okay?" She asked, balanced precariously on the top of a beam.

akachi had a cut on her forehead that was slowly healing, she pulled herself up to the beam and shook her head. "No." akachi held her head. Turning to alexis. "What did he do to you?"

Alexis was puzzled by the question, not knowing who the 'he' referred to. "Is your head good?" She asked, concerened for Akachi's fell being.

akachi shook her head, she didn't want to think about it. She didn't want to deal with Dimitri, or deal with the fact that people kept telling her that the brotherhood is evil. "It can't be evil. the brotherhood is all nice except him. They just can't be." Akachi turned to Alexis. "My head...."

Alexis stared. She wasn't very good with situations like these. "Do you want down?" She asked, trying to find a common solution.

Akachi shook her head again. "I just want to die. that is what I want. I just want him to leave me alone. He made almost all my friends hate me. Damn dimitri. I told him to get my file from the Xavier school, and he caused a fight." akachi stared down feeling a bit light headed. "HE can't tell. I can't have Dimitri tell them...if any of my friends found out...."

Alexis was once again confused. Akachi had spoken in a very fast sucesion, blurting out the things in her mind, Alexis got a little lost. "Found out?" She echoed, trying to get a grasp on the situation.

Remembering that Alexis just learned English, she knew that this was a hard one to understand. "I did something very very bad while I was gone." Akachi told her.

Alexis lay down on her beam, a little emotionally exhausted by the day looking for Akachi, she decided to listen to the story that ensued. "What?" She asked, eventually taking the bait.

Shaking her head, Akachi refused to tell. "If he stays Alexis, would you follow me if I left the brotherhood?" At this point she might have no choice.

Alexis nodded, not really needing to think about it. "Definantly." She said confidently, though she was a little confused why Akachi was thinking about leaving.

A smile appeared on her face when Alexis said that. Akachi felt a little light headed still, her eyes closed as she lost consciousness. She fell off the beam hitting one on her way down till she hit the ground falling onto a pile of boards.

Alexis watched as Akachi plumetted, before phasing through the beam and straight down towards the pink haired girl. As Akachi hit the borads Alexis realized that she was too late, and phased rolled down a small ramp of air molecules that she chose to interact with, landing safely on the ground next Akachi. Noticing that the girl was unconscious, she picked her up, ready to take her back to the brotherhood house. Before realizing that her friend might want to go to the xmen's mansion. So she opted for simply sitting on the ground until Akachi regained conciousness.

Akachi laid there for an hour as her wounds healed, slowly sat up and pulled a nail out her spine. It slowly healed, holding her head she figured stress or something was getting to her. Noticing that alexis was still sitting there. "I'm sorry."

Alexis sat next to Akachi, she had been counting the beams before her friend had woken up, and was a little confused on the context of her apology. "Why?" She asked, noticing no-one was around she flicked her holo-watch off.

"Cause I fell. should have said my head hurt." Akachi held her head again. it hurt a little from the fall but not enough to get knocked out. she noticed she turned the halo off, which was one thing that made her smile. "your true form is cool you know that?"

Alexis nodded. "I do..." She started, her mind starting to remember things that she didn't want to remember. "Others don't..." She finished, trying to block out the onslaught of fuzzy memory's with happier thoughts.

"I do. and I know a few people would think its awesome." Akachi patted Alexis on the back and then sat there still. She wasn't sure getting up after the fall was a good idea. "I think I might hide out at the Xavier house for a few days or maybe even the school."

Alexis contemplated what Akachi had said. "Do you want me to come?" She asked, wondering who those 'few' people were.

Akachi looked over at Alexis. "If you want. Just head home for a while I guess. this way at least he won't destroy the house." Akachi said, she didn't know what to do. "right now Alexis, I'm so lost."

Alexis didn't quite understand what she meant. "How are you lost?" She asked, not really wanting to go to the brotherhood house.

Akachi didn't answer for a moment, but gave a weak smile to alexis while leaning her shoulder against a pole and remaining seated on the ground. closing her eyes, she wanted to go back to everyone at the brotherhood having fun. "Cause I feel lied to. I don't know where to go or where to turn."
