It is the ability to conjure and control fire, however this is linked to her emotional level and thus can be very dangerouse to her and those around her due to the fact that she could burst into flames if enraged or upset.
On a smaller level she can control it, such as making a small flame like a lighter. This ability also protects her from fire, meaning she cannot be burned. Water, however, limits her ability and if soaked she is unable to create a spark. (Hence she hates rain)

Personality:
Hana is a very soft spoken person and though she always appears happy, she's tormented and tries to hide it from others. This can have a very negative effect before at some point she'll likely break and literally explode into flames as she did at the age of fourteen.
Being young and a little overly trusting she, unfortunately, attracts trouble and often needs help to get out of an issue. As far as her interraction with others she can be lovely company as she will do all in her power to make others happy.
One of the few things that does bother her is talking about her past, she will clam up immediately and seclude herself from the group.

Bio:
Hana is half Swedish half Japanese, she was born in Japan as a normal human child, with no sign of the mutant bloodline her mother carried. For the most part her life was very normal, she went to elementary school, played with friends, entered sports and studied hard. Her family was a picture-perfect scene. That was until she turned fourteen. Stress in the family, an affair by her father with another woman, and entering the stress of highschool life caused the mutant power in her to rise up with the emotion. Finally when her parents announced their divorce she exploded in built up rage, ignighting her abilities, and burning the house down. Her parents survived, but in fear she ran away. The first place she went was her best friend who hid her for a couple of days, however, as the police began to look for her she had to flee to protect her friend.
At this point she was aware that she was no longer human and so she sought out a place to help her. It seemed that her story on the news had caught some attention as she was passed a letter by a shadowy person which encouraged her to seek out a group called the Brotherhood.
With no where to turn she followed the directions and came upon an older house. Unsure what to do she simply approached and knocked...
