Jean's Dorm

Jean walks in and drops her school bag off by the door. She took off her shoes and layed down on the bed. She stared at the ceiling for a second before wondering where everyone had gone.

Jean got bored and decided to go looking for everyone.

Jean walks into her room and pulls out a sheet of paper. She searches arpund for a pencil but none in reach. She found one over by her desk so she levitated it over ot her. She started writing some random stuff

Jean walked into her room and put the jack-in-the-box on her bedside table. She changed into her nightgown and goes to sleep.

******START DREAM******

Jean walked past tents and roller coasters. She was at the fair again, only this time, it was raining. Not only rain but lightning and thunder too. She wore nothing but her light blue nightgown, hugging her own body for warmth. She aimlessly walked around until she came upon a clown near a vendor cart. She gasped as she saw it turn it head and laugh. She screamed and ran. Then she saw another one and ran from that. The two started chasing her. She then ran into another one, except it was huge. She stopped and started backing up and then ran. Soon all three were following her and they were all huge. She turned to face them and started backing up. Then another on appeared behind her. she turned around and screamed. Then the clown stood up and fell ontop of the screaming and frightened jean.

Jean woke with a start in the middle of the night. She screamed as she woke. She looked around only to find herself floating in air. She lowered herself to the bed and tried to relax. Outside it was raining and with every lightning strike the room lit up. Jean hugged her knees and tried to breathe evenly. The lightning struck again and then the Jack-in-the-Box started playing as if wound by itself. Jean looked over to it and wondered how it did that. It stopped playing and Jean picked it up off the nightstand. She set it in her lap and moved the hair from her face. She watched it intently then suddenly it popped open showing a face covered in tattoos. Jean screamed when it did.

Jean felt as if she was knocked out, but in truth she wasn't. She was just.... not in the right state of mind, aka hypnotized. She got out of bed and got dressed in a pair of jeans and t shirt. She grabbed a backpack with her uniform in it and put a small drawstring bag in her pocket. She Looked around the room and exited via window. She headed off to the train station where she proceeded to buy a ticket to Boston, Massachusetts.

Kitty phased through the door in her pjs, rubbing her eyes with one hand, holding Lockheed in the other. "Like, Jean is everything allr right. We can totally hear you scream from my..." Kitty, now fully awake, noticed Jean was nowhere in her room. "Jean? ... Jean?" Kitty rushed out of the room, panicing now "PROFESSOR! MR.LOGAN! ANYBODY! HELP!"

Kiki poked her head out of the door. "Nnnnn....whaz wrong Kitty..?" she yawned

"Its like, Jean, shes like gone!" Kitty shouted, her grammar getting worse as she ramblled on about what happened.

Jake pushed past kiki, sticking a cougar head through the door.
"Wait- who's gone? Jean? What happened- I didn't hear anyone else...."
Jake pushed into the room, sniffing the air.

Kitty was on the verge of hyperventilation "Like I don't, like she screamed and like I came in here as soon as I could and like she was just gone!"

Kiki rubbed her eyes and went into the room. After looking around she yawned. "I dont see any signs of a fight. Maybe she just had a bad dream and went outside for some fresh air..."

KItty shook her head, obviously in a wreck "Like, I came over here like right when she screamed and like I didn't see her like come out of her room!" Kitty's powers began to go on the fritz from her panic attack, everynow and then she would start to sink through the floor.

Kiki walked over to Kitty and said in a very calming voice, "Kitty we need you to calm down a little so we can find Jean. Can you do that? We'll never find her at this rate."

Kitty's breathing began to even out "Like, I-I think so."

"Ok." she said slowly. "Now we need you to unphase out of the floor and sit on the bed so you can tell us what happened."

Kitty nodded slowly as she began to walk over to the bed, still slightly phased through the floor. She sat dow and noticed something unsual under the covers of the unmade bed. She drew them back nervously and saw the Jack-in-the-Box from the other day, sprung up with a wicked grin on its face. Way too creepy for Kitty's tastes, espically now. She put it over on the nightstand, to shocked to deal with the clown on a spring.

"Why was....that thing in her bed?" she said out loud, talking to herself.

Kitty shook her head "Like, I don't know but she like screamed twice." Kitty looked back over to the demonic face "Like if I saw that thing after a nightmare, like I'd scream too."

"Well, I'll look outside, but she left on her own. There's no scent of anyone else, so she left on her own terms. No cause for to much worry. She should be back in no time." Jake said, after a final sniff.

Kitty shook her head "Like no that's not like Jean. This like doesn't feel right at all."

"Maybe its just me but...that thing is giving off an evil vibe." she said putting the demonic face back in its box and closing it.

Jake cocked his head at the jack-in-the-box. "Isn't that the box Jean won the other day?"

"Yeah, it is..." she said staring at it intently.

Kitty turned to look at the toy "Like, maybe we should take it to the professor."
