fast training can be fun (Pietro)

akachi couldn't sleep and it was about midnight. She didnt' have school the next day, but she knew that things were making her happy around there. With members of the brotherhood showing up more she is more happy to see her friends and happy that at least they missed her. Dressing in knee length low riding sweat pants that were black, and a white tank top with a plade country shirt on she went down into the basement with no shoes. Staring at all the stuff for training, she never really been down there. She needed to work on her powers and hand to hand combat. Seeing a punching bag in the corner she hit it as hard as she could trying to build up her strength.

Pietro, still awake from one to many energy drinks, was slumped down in a couch above. In the darkness of the house, he turned his head to see beams of light escaping the crack of the door to the staircase leading to the basement. Curious and bored at the same time, he got up and went downstairs to investigate. Once down, he skimmed the room and found Akachi with the punchbag. In an instant, he was right next to her.

thinking that no one was awake, she jumped when Pietro appeared next to her in a blur. her face turned red as she normally didn't let anyone see her train. "Been drinking those energy drinks again huh?" Akachi smiled, as she kicked the bag, trying to make her kicks a little higher each time. "Wanna join me? or do you want me to make you something to eat?"

Pietro smiled, "Wellthatistempting, butIthinkI'lljustjoinyou." Despite her amazing cooking, he would feel guilty making her quit her training to make something for him. Guilt. That was a new feeling...

Akachi nodded her head. "Okay, hand to hand or powers?" Akachi asked, she knew that hand to hand would fail cause of his speed so she used her chains to wrap around his feet. "I guess my chains would work sometimes on your speed." Her face turned red a little again since this was the first time she trained with someone practically. she gave him a playful shove. "Now we are even for speed at least by feet." She laughed.

Pietro smirked and shrugged, "Iwouldn'tcountonit, butI'lltrynottoshowoff." He pretended to fall back some at the playfull shove, and then restraightened himself. The chains weighed him down some, but he often ran with heavy weights around his ankles - a fact he decided best not to bring up. He stepped back into his usual sparring stance with his right leg forward, weight on the balls of his weighed-down feet, arms parallel with the right on bottom, and hands fisted.

akachi spread her feet apart with one hand at her side and the other one behind her shoulder ready to ram it into his head. she needed to get into the zone of training. remembering when she was abandoned at the xavier institute, she charged at pietro and swung at him. "Ha. I won't go easy."

Pietro stepped to the left side and simultaneously threw his right arm up to block the hit, and then threw his left fist at her side, smirking, "Ifyousayso."

Akachi took the hit, but stood there with a smirk on her face. With a grip on his hand, she flipped him over her shoulder twisting his arm behind his back. "I do say so. This isn't a fair fight, but." she gave him a nice smile. "At least its fun to train with someone."

Pietro looked up at her, holding a gaze for a couple of seconds, the suddenly throwing his legs around her waist, crossing them behind her back. He pulled her down and swung his weight to the right, rolling so he was ontop of her. He put his knees on her wrists and straightened up so that her knees couldn't reach any vital points if she went for it, and held his hands at her throught as if he was about to choke her.

akachi flicked in pain for a moment, but then stared at him with a frown on her face. She used her elbow as it got free to move his arm, punching him without looking she aimed for his wind pipe.

Pietro absorbed the hit and coughed some, then turned his head back and twisted one arm around hers, locking it up at the elbow. From there, he brought his other hand to his ear, opening it up while keeping his fingers tightly together, then he moved from the chamber, throwing a knifehand strike to the pressure point on the side of her neck.

Akachi struggled but when she saw him going for her preassure point, she turned her head and bit his hand. Using her body strenght to get knock him over to the side as she got back to her feet. "No way." Akachi said. She grinned at him, and grabbed his arms with her barefoot in his back pulling his arms behind him as though she was going to rip them off.

Pietro pulled down with his arms to get him up onto one knee. He whipped his arms to the openings of her grips, where the thumb meets the fingers, and pulled his hands free in front of him. He spun on his knee and did a leg sweep at her knee level, hooking around her knees and pulling her down face first. He got ontop of her back and held his palm between her shoulders on the spinal chord, digging into it.

akachi hit the ground as she held her knee for a moment. it had sent a vibration down to her ankle she broke two days ago. she thought it had healed right, but it had been hurting when she hit things too hard with it. Akachi growled at Pietro as he held her down. She gave a sad pouty face that was normally adorable to her brother and some people when she wants something.

Pietro smirked, hearing her growl, but couldn't see her face since he was holding her back down. He assumed it held an expression he wasn't going to like.

"Get off me." Akachi said sadly, she knew she got beaten. she wasn't good at hand to hand combat she knew it. She used her chains to knock him off, standing up she rubbed her bad ankle. she couldn't believe that it was still hurting. Looking at her barefeet, she looked up at pietro as she made her chains disappear. "you win." She said as she grabbed a bottle of water from the shelf she had from last night. Taking a sip, she gave a sad look at it thinking now that if she couldn't even keep pietro down then how was she going to protect the ones she cares for. "I might as well not fight and remain a cleaning lady." Akachi sighed.

"Heynow," He said, moving to put an arm around her, "Ifyoucangetmetotheground, you'readecentfighter. Alotbetterthanmanypeoplehere. Andwithtime, you'lljustgetbetter." Something in his mind told him he was making a mistake by doing this, but he felt he should at least give her the satisfaction of tricking him.

"Hope so. Don't want to depend on my chains to save me all the time." Akachi told him, his words seemed comforting to her. She didn't want to not beable to guard everyone if her powers get out of control. "thanks though makes me feel a bit better." She said happy to hear those words but still sad a little. then she noticed his arm around her and her face turned a little pink. REmoving his hand, she smirked. "What if we got the brother hood to do a training day outside of bayville. where we can let our powers loose." Akachi said. "Then it might be easier for all of us."

"Yeah," Pietro said, then he smiled without humor, "butthenyou'dhavepeoplealmostifnotkillingoneanother." Normally he wouldn't have a problem with that, but he knew she very well might, and he wouldn't want to see any scars, mental or physical, placed on her from such a scene.

She smirked, "Good point. but then again, when you see everything get taken away from you more than once, even your freedom. what more is there to traumatize me with?" Akachi said, looked back at her bottle she knew she was already tramatized thought from her past. Seeing all those dead faces looking at her in the face as she was the only one that survived the car accident without a scratch. She got lost in her train of thought. "Oh yea what do you want for christmas?" Akachi asked she looked up at him with a smile on her face as she took another sip of her water. She looked at a block on the ground. she stood on her hands on it, and looked at pietro with a calm look on her face trying to forget the day that happened.

Pietro shrugged at the last question. He hadn't been asked that for many years, and the only times had been complete strangers. He turned to the prior thing she said, feeling the need to comfort her, "Youhavefreedomhere." He paused for a couple seconds before continuing, "Iwon'tletanythingelsebetakenfromyouagain. Ipromise."

Akachi went back on her feet and sat down when he said that, he was the last person she expected to hear that from. Being told that she had freedom and that nothing would be taken away from her made her so happy. but his speak is making her want to hide every energy drink in the world. Smiling, she gave Pietro a hug for being nice. But then she let go and wrapped a wrap around her bad ankle before using her chains to make her stand up.

Pietro smiled gently. He didn't get many hugs - usually when people wrapped their arms around him, it was to restrain him from something. He stood up and watched Akachi's rise, feeling guilty for her pain, "Wouldyou, er, likesomehelp?"

she shook her head. "No, I broke my ankle at the Xmen house the other day. broken bones take a few more days to heal than cuts." Akachi pointed out, she knew it was true. Seeing his worry though and placed a hand on his shoulder to help her stand instead of her chains. "I'm okay, I promise." She smiled at him thinking for a moment she looked around. "Want to try again?"
