following your topic and i was wondering
can i lead a rescue mission! *please*! I mean, you're sorta kidnapping them... and Jake's an uber protective friend... it'd work great.

I still want the DISEASE! I know what Cale would do now.

It containes three steps:

Step 1: Powers are controlable, but not easily.

step 2: Powers fire off at random times.

Step 3: Mutant is consumed by their power.

Exceptions are made for those with certain powers.

This is what would happen to Cale:

1. He would start flirting with most girls, and hating most other guys. Attracts dogs.


2. He would start growing claws, teeth, and fur. His hearing and smelling would be sharply increased. Any noise or strange smell would make him freak.

3. Last, he would go mad. He would hardly look human, and would forget his friends. At this stage, he would be mostly wolf.

Stages last for up to three weeks, and the final stage can last from three weeks to a month, after that they slowly come back. Disease is spread through touching and contact with mutant powers.

I thought this all out. In special cases (Matt) I will think of something. Most powers can he adapted to the three steps.

I just got a idea! ^_^

You know the midnight raid Darky and Ches did, they could be making the disease with the files!

Well, it doesn't have to be an injecting kind of disease, maybe we rush in guns blazing(metaphorically of course) and 'accedently' break the vial it's in, releaseing the disease...
You know, knowing Jake's luck he'll be the one to break it.

Okay, first of all, Aka and the other teens will not be making it, the head honchos will. The other guys are just there to steal it. Second, I think that it could possibly be a expirement to give humans mutant powers, but instead is messes with mutant powers.

It's purpose could be used to make mutant powers get out of control, it would help fuel the hate of humans towards mutants when things happen around them - This would cause a lot of issues and make more mutants draw towards Magneto's side.
Matt could allow himself to become infected and when he reaches the 2nd or 3rd stage just stand in a public place and watch the chaos.

I, sadly to say, actually agree. I think it is a pretty good idea.

I do like it mysefl and it cold be funny to see how some people turn out, Jake stuck in half form, Matt blowing up everything he touches, Kitty getting put in the clunky suit she's in currently in the 616 timeline to avoid phasing through the Earth, Evan getting the awesome armor, and dare I say: Jean getting consmed by her power could lead to buh buh buuuuuuuh THE PHOENIX!

Heh. Phoenix. Brings back memorys. I told my sister about the dark phoenix, and a few days later, she got this life size doll at a thrift store. She then started smashing it on the wall and saying she was beating the dark phoenix out of it. That doll lasted less than a week.

We can pull a legacy virus if someone is willing to sacrifice their character to be the host for the cure.

Jake can't die, we need to torment him more.

I am in total agreeance with Kitty about it. Although sacrificing jake is something i personally would love to do, it is much more fun to torture him.

I would volunteer myself as Jean, seeing as she doesn't seem to stay dead for long but I am not quite so sure if its a good idea. Especially with the whole possibility of Phoenix.

Ok so Jean sacrifices herself to be the host to the cure just before she goes stage 3,Phoenix and all that crap. Because the Phoenix never manifested we don't get any good Phoenix in between, Jean comes back a little while later full fledged Dark Phoenix...

Then we have to kill her again (Love you Jean ^^")

Jean dies on a monthly basis, and is revived. 50% of the time she come back as the dark phoenix to reek her revenge. It happens all the time. The comic people can't come up with anything better. -_-

A legacy virus doesn't need someone to die, it depends on how the virus works.
It is attacks like a normal virus causing sickness Logan would be able to withstand it and create cells to fight it off.
If it use's the energy in or around the body Matt's body might be able to fight it off and could be used as a tool to create a anti-virus.
A character like Infectia might be able to do the same.

I could sacrifice Scott. If i can.

It wouldn't actually be the Legac Virus from the books, rather than a checmical or another type of virus that specifaccly targets Mutants. I was just saying that we modle the nding off the Legac virus sega when Colossus sacrifices himself to be the host for the cure, ultimatly dying from it. Though I do agree, those with a healing factor could potentially fight it off before it reaches steps 2 and 3

Evan, we don't kill off the temps. It isn't fair to someone who wants to play as them in the future permantly.
