Ghost in the halls (OPEN)

Luna walked through the halls looking at everything, her ghostly appearance was normal, but at the same time her fear of dying was still there. she didn't want to die, but the day would be coming soon where death would be knocking at her door at her mortal body. Dressed in her loose white gown that seemed to flow behind her, she walked down into the lounge where students normally hung out.
"Hello." Her ghostly voice echoed around the school like a faint whisper. She normally stayed around due to professor X whom was rather nice to her. She wished though that she could tell someone where she was.

A loud, deep boom could be heard throughout the house.
Jake slammed open the door to his room, smoke poaring out behind him.
He leaned against the hallway wall, coughing.
"Lesson...learned..." He said between coughs. "I am *never* trying *that* again...."

Luna heard a boom coming from the halls above, going upstair she phased through all the wall white glimpses of her white hair could be seen by the students of the school. she was so use to people screaming that she found it normal. Poking her head out next to Jake's, she turned looking at him with her lunar blue eyes. She smell filled her nose as smoke came from under the door. She muttered something in norse.

When he heard someone suddenly beside him, he whirled around and snarled instinctively geting into a fighing pose. He raised a brow as he noticed a white-haired girl.
"Who are you?"

luna stepped out of the wall and stared at Jake calmly. Her eyes watched her for a moment as her english was a little bit off since she doesn't speak it much. "Me Luna...what you?" She meant to say who but it came out like that. she didn't really notice it. her white dress flowed on the ground as her body could be seen through as her lunar blue eyes stared at him. "Did thy scary you?"

"Well.... I'm Jake... and you suprised me." Jake said slowly, studying the girl. She could appear out of nowhere like Kitty and Kurt. But there was something different. "I'm just used to be able to hear people coming."

Luna turned her head sideways as she knew that her old norse dress that flowed around her as her feet could not be seen on the ground. "Thy not mean to scary you." Luna spoke; she was doing her best to remember her conversations with the people in their dreams how english was spoken. "Good to meet thee." She said. The look she got made her question; she looked like she is from a different land but at the same time she could be seen through and not touched. Poking her head through the wall the sounds of furniture being tossed around the room could be heard.

Jake straightened up and cocked his head, rubbing his neck.
"Uh... no offence or anything. But what are you?"

Luna didn't really take offense, but she couldn't really tell a person where she was but she could tell what she was. it always made her mad that she didn't even know where her real body was.
"A ghost child. thy spirit here but my vessel tis somewere else." Luna replied. "I'm just going around for two years before I die." Luna smiled, she knew the day would come before she was sacrificed but she didn't want to be around the people that would kill her.

"Two years? How can you be so exact?" Jake asked, slightly curious.

"Cause...that how old I will be when they kill me." Luna smirked. "I'll be 18 or 19." She wasn't too thrilled about not remembering heck at the moment she couldn't remember her current age. Walking forward her body went right through Jake like a ghost would and turned her head. "Its a hard life, but what better place to spend it than in a world that doesn't make you look at those who will kill you."

Jake froze as Luna went through him. Mutant powers were getting wierder and wierder.
"Can't you just stop them?" Jake asked, turning around. "Protect yourself."

Shaking her head, she could not. her mental abilities can only open and close doors as well as toss pots and pans. nothing threatening really. all she could do was enter dreams and make the outside world in a place seem like its haunted as hell. Her body had been asleep for so long, she could not think of when she was last awake.
"No." She said. "only able to do things like this." As she pulled her head back in after making all the funiture move against the wall in his room. Looking at Jake calmly, her lonely lunar blue eyes watched him. "I do not even know where I am." Her voice echoed in the halls like a faint voice of angelic chimes. it was her curse, but at the same time she has accepted what she was.

"Well first off, you're right here." Jake replied smartly, inspecting his left arm. "I could help. I personally don't like the idea of anyone dying."

Luna chuckled as her voice echoed again as long she was in a cave. Sighing, she circled the small boy for a moment. he was talking about her being there, she wasn't there. Her soul was, it was how she moved around in the world. Luna floated around in a circle a few times before speaking. "My soul is but my body is not. It would be wise not to get mixed up in it." Luna warned. "your rulers won't like it."

"I'm an American. We Americans don't believe in rulers." Jake said smartly, watching the girl. "I'm not afraid of danger."

Luna didn't say anything as she poked her head into other rooms before looking back at the lad. He reminded her of a village boy that always said he asn't afraid. but when the time came for the test, he was the first to die in the combat training. Pride is something that is scary at times.
"Yes sure you are not." Luna smirked. "Just like when I didn't scare you when I popped out the wall." Luna ghosted through him again before hanging upside down from her window. "Wish I could tell, but it is forbidden and I don't know where my body is."

Jake raised a brow. He didn't apreciate that crack about him being scared.
"Don't know, or won't tell. I'd like to help if I can."

"Both. Can't tell and don't know. All I know is that its in some woods." Luna said, she wasn't too sure at all. If she told people where the village might be or go back to her body to find out there is a good chance she won't be coming back unless she connects to someone's dreams. She wasn't about to go into a man's dreams as the last one she randomly entered scared her half to death. "Surrounded by trees, the smell of sea salt, grassy fields. no one knows and I gave up on people trying to find me." Luna shrugged. "all the others for over a hundred years have never been found. so I will most likely be the same like them."

"A forest by the seas..." Jake said, scratching his chin. "You have an accent- where are you from?" Jake said, changing gears. He wanted to help her, and he would definatly look into the matter.

"A norse village." Luna said, she wasn't too sure how to answer that. "Land of vikings." She smiled.

"Cool, Vikings." He said with a nod, unsure of where to go now.

Luna shrugged as she floated off to the side. "Yes awesome. sadly though many have not made it to valhala since they settled the land. cause there have been no fights." Flicking a peice of his hair, she could touch him but she smirked when he couldn't touch her. "Wanna play some pranks?" Luna asked, it was still hard for her since she grew up with her traditional language but she is still learning.

Jake grinned. "Like what?"

"Stik furniture to the above walls." Luna said, her eyes looked back into Jake's room as the smell of smoke was gone. Turning her head away she stared at Jake. "Might want to put your room back together." She smirked.
