Kiki Breaks off

She stood in the main hall with her bags next to her on the floor. A birdcage was next to them along with a a small turtle aquarium. Her cat twirled around her legs as she scratched the back of her head and gazed up the giant staircase. Her raven ruffled its feathers silently as she sighed and started to levitate her things.

Jake walked inside, surpised to see kiki. He cocked his head.
"Where are you going?"

Kiki froze. She was positive that no one would be awake at this ungodly hour. "Oh...uhm.....nowhere important.."

"I doubt that if you have all that," Wes said, walking up from behind, her insomnia keeping her from any hope of sleep.

Kiki closed her eyes and cursed silently. "Yeah well....I've decided I need a change of scene."

("There's a new Golden Age coming, you wont be part of it.")
"So, you're just leaving then?"

Kiki rubbed the back of her neck. "I have to Wes, I love it her but...I just have to. You wouldn't understand."

((poor me -_- blah bleh blargh!! *throws chair at wall*))

"Let her goes Wes." Ororo's voice called fromm the stairs "The professor often says it must be by free will or not at all. Being raised here Kiki never got her choice." A few tears began to form in her eyes.

((oh...oh that is so not fair D=))
Kiki looked down at the floor. "I'm sorry I tried to leave without saying goodbye to everyone but..." she looked up again with a cold look in her eyes, "I have questions that the professor refuses to answer."

(What's not fair *evil smirk*)

"I understand, but its better to say goodbye than leave without warning." Storm replied begining to walk toward the others.

"I wasn't going to stop you, really," She started towards Kiki, "I was just kinda suprised. You know, that you're actually leaving this time..."

She shrugged, "I felt like it was enough. I have to learn about myself soon or I might be stuck here forever not knowing."

Jake looked back and forth at the girls then with finality held out his hand.
"Well, Hope you find what you're looking for. It'll be quiet without you."

Wes added low enough for Ororo not to hear "We'll still see you destroying the mall right?"

Kiki smiled at both of them, tears pricking her eyes. She blinked them away and shook Jake's hand. "Of course. Its not like you guys are never gonna see me again, Ill still be...around." She sighed, "I wish I could take my fish with me but...ah well."

"We'll arange for you to pick them up somewhere, somehow..." Wes answered holding back a tear of her own.

"If you need any help, let me know, with anything." He said, closing his eyes to avoid crying.

Kiki laughed awkwardly as she put a piece of her hair behind her ear. "Look at us, getting all mushy.."

"No...*this* is getting mushy," Wes held out her arms.

Jake laughed too, scratching the back of his head.
"Heh, I'm not going that far- I don't like you guys *that* much."

"Oh come here fuzzball." She said wrapping her arm around his neck and pulling him into a hug with Wes. "I'll miss you guys" she muttered.

Suki walks up to the group hug with a soda and looks over this for a second.

"Uh, whats going on???"

She asks, unsure of this scene.

Wes looks over, "It's called a hug." She answers obviously.

Jake broke out of the group hug.
"Okay.. that's enough." He said, rubbing his neck.

Kiki giggled slightly, a bit dizzy with the whole largeness of what her action is about to do. She coughed self consciously, "Yeah...well....someone needs to feed my fish while im gone.."
