Joy Ride ^^ (dont tell Logan)

Jake walked into the hanger.
"There it is... I'm flying."

"uh, are you sure you can fly that safly?"

Suki sasy a bit nervous about some one around her age flying a jet.

"Well enough. I've done plenty of simulators. Can't be too different."

"I want to drive on the way back!!" Kiki said running onto the jet.

"WHat? Hey!" Jake ran after her and hopped into the pilot's seat.
"Alright, fasten your seat belts."

"No way, standing up on take off is fun." she said grabbing onto a pipe thingy that was sticking off the wall.

"You just killed that moment, kiki. It's like... tradition. I really dont care if you fasten your seat belt. It's just... nevermind. You wanna be copilot?"

Suki sat down in a seat and buckled up, listening to the two talk.

"were are the paracuteswhen you crash this bird?"

suki asks, smilingl ightly at her twsted joke.

"Funny. Very funny." Jake muttered. He started up the plane. "I still need a copilot. The blackbird's a two pilot plane."

"Yeah yeah." she said sitting in the copilot seat. "Ready for take off captain?"

Suki smirks lightly and looks out the window, excited about thi as she awaits launch.

Kiki remembered something and turned around to face Suki. "By the way, there are no parachutes in here. Im fairly sure I can catch everybody.....maybe." she said turning back to the controls and preparing for liftoff.

"Yes, positive thinking. Very optimistic. Let's go, open the doors and we're outta here!" Jake said, staring take off

"Thanks Jake." she said flipping the switch that opens the doors while turning on the stealth field. "Lets hope it got fixed from the last 'joy ride'...." she said

"If it's not, you get to drive while I try and fix it."
With that he accelerated, zooming out of the hanger.
"What do you think this can do- mach 2, mach 3, maybe up to 60 000 ft?"

Kitty wandered out of the back of the Black Bird "Its maximum velocity at 120,000 feet is Mach 4.2. Now can I ask, like, what do you guys think you're doing!" The last part was at more of a yell than her normal voice

Jake jumped at Kitty's voice.
"Uh... it's what it looks like. I'm flying the x-jet....." Jake started.

Kitty gave him an angry glare "Like, did you even think of how much Danger Room time your gonna clock in, not to mention you'll totally beign cleaning the Danger Room and hanger for months!"

"Uh... no, not really....." Jake replied honestly.

Kitty scoffed "Like, I didn't think so."

Kiki smiled and put her hands together. "You're just mad because we didn't invite you for the joyride. Besides, danger room sessions are fun!"

Suki began to slowly work her way out of the plane in hops not to get blamed for all this.

(you do realize we are in the middle of taking off right?)

"Not so faaaaast~!" she said flicking her finger and floating suki back to her seat and buckling her in. "Its dangerous to be walking around when we're taking off" she said smiling evily

Kitty gave a fake smirk and raised an eyebrow "Fun? Like, how about sessions so hard Mr. Logan hasn't gotten past them? And the like cleaning up after you get slammed around everywhere. I even heard that Mr.Logan goes as far as to not let you use your powers in the cleaning or the actual sessions."

"Still. its fun! Lets ya know your worth." she said while pushing the speed lever up. "Cleaning up...not so much."
